'La Macia' Philosophy 4-3-3 Adapted For FM

Hello all, I am the author of a tactic that has been 1 month in the making, I have tried to harness the qualities of a team like barcelona into the lower leagues.
My average age of my starting eleven at burton is down to around 23, this tactic is pretty superb and built for all capabilities (obviously the better quality players the more chances will be converted). But as my screenshots show on the page its not always the case, I am curently sitting top of Npower League 2 with 15-W 0-D 0-L as my screenshot shows...
Current Goal Stats In The League:
Goals Scored: 74
Goals Conceded: 1 (Screenshot proves this)

It took alot of games, alot of training schedules and alot of failures but I believe I have harnessed the right mentality and balance to fit in with any team.

What Does This Tactic Give?

Your team will play with freedom and alot of energy, alot of chances will be created and alot of width but crucially the width can quickly be turned on its head with a cut inside pass. some heading opportunities will be created but mainly crafted passes.
The La Macia aspect comes into play by the managers hand, this tactic plus the right mentality of youth can give you the right balance tempo and more importantly an amazing youth system. Sign cheap youngsters who simply have these attributes (For lower teams).
The ST role is very adaptable, the instructions are set correctly, but for example if you went with a 6ft ST the wide men would set themselves a little more float opportunities. Also it will give fluidity with the full back overlap no matter who the ST is, 90 pct of crosses would be drilled. You just need a decent ST who can finish, doesnt matter how they can finish just that they can finish.
Passing-10 Plus
Wide Men with pace/acceleration stats of 12/13 +
Preferably play AMR-Left Foot
And AML-Right Foot
Currently I play AMR-Right foot (because hes my only option)
And AML-Right foot
Seems to work better with the cut inside drill crosses and the shooting/dribbling
The Match Preperation depends on your team, if you sign alot of new players leave it on team blend for 2-3 weeks. Then on attacking movement after, if you have a left footer for AMR then change his setting to cut inside
If you need any transfer advice (for those of us who enjoy life in the lower leagues) feel free to PM me
Does not take a team of superstars to use this tactic, I am looking for people who play as man united, chelsea etc to test this our and give feedback however.
This thread is for discussion/suggestions involving the tactic. Currently tuning a training schedule but until then I recommend Ian C's training regime:Training

Other Information
Pitch Size: Maximum Size Allowed In The League- Allows Your Passing Game To Stretch The Opposition More Whilst Leaving More Space In Behind For Your Attackers to Exploit

Match Prep: If You Made Alot Of Signings Leave It On Team Blend For 2-3 Weeks, Then Defensive Positioning Depending how ~Comfortable your Defence Is With Closing Down But For Most The Season I Leave It On Attacking Movement.

Opp. Instructions: Mainly Leave To My Assistant In League Games, Simply Close Down Their Middle Of The Park Playmaker And Isolate The Strikers With Close Down And Weaker Foot

Individual Training Focus: Any Players (Defenders Most Liekely) Struggling With This Tactic Put Them On A Passing Individual Focus Schedule In Training

Those are some AMAZING results you have got!

But I cannot download the tactic, could you possibly post a link for it on here, as the one above has not been approved???

Cheers

Steve

This is insane man ! 55 goals and only "one" conceded ! Wow...
By the way i can't downlad it...

Alright lads an update: It got approved, then I edited for this thread link to be put in the description, waiting for a mod to re approve, apologies
OI or match shouts???
Yes, but the usual, show wide men on weaker foot, close down ST's to isolate them and thats pretty much it
Close down CM's
Show LM RM on weaker side
Close Down AND Show ST On Weaker Foot

Team Talk Advice: 'You can win this' in underdog games, Derbys 'For the fans!' usually just wish luck/they can win this. When your ST starts scoring, in games against same level opposition tell him 'Expect a performance'

thats fine mate, and do you use any OI or match shouts and match prep?

^^^
Match prep I actually prepare this tactic in slot one, slot two this tactic but set to standard and counter (Still BETA testing that one) and a 'big boys' tactic. Played Man City at eastlands and won 3-0 on the league cup, beat blackburn at home 2-0. The 'under dog' tactic is coming into the last stage of consistency/possesion testing and hopefully will be up within the week

il look forward to trying out the tactic once its approved :D

I downloaded this tactic when it was approved, and lost my first game 4-0 with Roma against Chievo. Bad tactic!!:(

Way to go giving it a whole game to test it, really allowed time for your players to gel there....

Also it states its suited to lower leagues.

Couple of questions on that:
If you downloaded and then put it in on a matchday then obviously the passing wont be sharp and the players familiarity will not be as in synch. Which is why I recommend that this is put in pre season or at least before an international break. It takes at least a week for match prep to show a change in the players familiarity with the tactics.
If you have just done the above....
Then thats not what this tactic is about, it is as jake rightly pointed out a tactic suited to lower leagues and I was hoping someone would test it in the premiership or a big european league. Don't shoot it down after one game fella, PM me your lineup and if you have training schedules in place etc and we'll see whats happened. But like I said this is a developmental tactic which will bring out a fluid 'La Macia' philosophy on the field. So my advice would be read the above plus the introduction and see if you have introduced it in the right way.

I take it the target man is the striker? As the AML has target man instructions.... I take it is. im testing on holiday with my game atm. So far so good but i don't think im scoring as many as in your burton game.

why did you chose that name?
i downloaded it and i'm going to test it with my aston villa side, to see how a premiership team goes with it

La Masia (not Macia) is the name of Barca's youth training facility so im guessing its a hint on that, he mentions youth players too in his opener.

I got my spelling from a madrid newspaper headline so your probably right on the spelling.
Philosophy is quite what you said, about bringing in youth, obviously with burton I'm limited but work with what you have and you can create good things.
Tried to imply about targetman, its optional depending on who you have, I play a 5'7 ST so obviously dont but I do have a 6''2 ST and keep targetman switched off when he plays and he still scores.
Holidaying is.....not the worst way to test it I suppose xD
Let me know if you have any player specific queries anyway lads,
Does help to have full backs/CB's with 9+ passing (I set it low because of the divisions I play in), for a bigger team its still untried to an extent, looking for people to test it for me.
'La Masia' is basically a philosophy and an 'idea' of Kruyff adapted in to the way barce develop talent. Well spotted Gravy XD

Answer

Add On: When posting could people please post what teams they are 'testing' it with please, just helps me build a picture of the effectiveness at higher/different leagues.
Cheers

Hehe nps, i didn't mean to knitt pick, so far the tactic is very good!
To answer it seems fine for bigger teams im using a save that was in 2016, I have a host of stars in my line up including Messi and Aguero, it will probably be even more effective if I manage myself it was just to grasp an idea of how well it can do after seeing your impressive results. Ive already had a nice season recently in which i scored 130 in the league and conceeded 10 so im looking at how this works out.

Id leave your assistant manager on Match Prep too. I'll post a screenshot or two after the seasons finished.

Aye, I leave my Assistant with match prep too, just put in the 3 formations for him to train the team to use, currently BETA'ing a version of this but suited for under dogs I.E League cup
Crafted it as a counter attack version of this as its stupid to think I could retain 65 pct possesion as burton against chelsea etc.
So far its had one game, chelsea away in the League Cup Quarter and passed with flying colours:
2-0
CCC's for me-2
CCC's for chelsea-0

Once that babys tuned I'll have that up, Messi....Aguero......Maybe if I get bought out by a sheikh but cant see myself having them by 2016 ^^), let me know how it goes for you anyway mate
