hey jimmers great tactic if it brings them results and could i see your burton team sheet as ive jus started a data as crewe because its where im from and ive tried a data with them already but i always seem to fail so hope this tactic will work for me cheers.

And I'll write out some good L2 youngsters to sign mate and see what we can build

Heres some for anyone else in the lower leagues:
William Tsovolos CB-Portsmouth 3.5k 17 years old (Hes my CB at burton)
Andre Blackman LB 35k 19 years old (Plays LB for me)
Jennison Myrie Williams-St Johnstone AMR/L Very good player 22 years old
Michael D'agostino-Free agent AMR
Joseph Boakye-CM 18 years old Bring alot of energy to CM
Mar-andre manga-ST (Good cameroonian ST)
Abu Bakr- Free agent CDM, very good for Leagues 2+1
Dionatan tiexera-CDM Brazilian 18 years old
Thomas Kapsalopodas-(My 1st choice CDM) Ex man city free agent, 18 yeards old

testing it with st. pauli@bundesliga - 1st season.

the only thing i changed till now is to set fullback's passing style to the minimium.
my FB's sux so they were missing LOTS of passes.

Very good point ^
I dont sign ANY players with passing of minus 9/10 no matter how young
I can improve passing dramatically with training specific regimes so I dont worry about it
Full backs/Centre backs with good passing really help with the fluidity and possesion stats with this tactic, good full backs are worth on avg an extra 2 pct possesion per game. to counter it with those less talented FB's try setting creative freedom to ZERO and run with ball rarely (I prefer sometimes for those bursting runs) Should help you out
 


Thats the end of season pretty nice results, i bet its even stronger when managed personally, I checked through and my *** man sometimes played players slightly out of position well you know its holidaying.... All in all very impressive, shame however that with all those good results 6 wins in 6 cl group stage, we lost the cl final and the italian cup final. Even so excellent. Cheers Jimmer

CL final and Cup final is very interesting to note, great feedback mate, wow thats taken me aback, you think it was just *** man in cup finals is very dodgy or what?
Checked your ECL results, managed to thump Arsenal Chelsea A.C home and away then come up against athletico madrid and lose 1-0 :/
I hope that was *** Man's screwy managing skills XD
Just seems a bit odd that the tactics lost 2 cup finals, nice league finish mind and good goal difference won the titles by 29 points....Well played man

Interesting to see with others what kind of final performances they get Human/CPU controlled
 
Yeah i think it was possibly poor team talks to be honest, in my experience when you try holiday then use the tactic in a full season its a lot more stable really interesting though some nice goals being scored. Sound tactic you've got there mate!

Let me know how you get on using in anyway, hopefully perform better in the finals. Good to see that domestic record of 0-Losses
Coming up to January in my burton and things are looking good, hopefully with you at the helm you can curb those goals conceded down a bit in the league and your in business
 
doesnt seem to be working for me lol



il carry on trying, might change lol the team hve got use to it but still nothing :s in them 7 games i have had 3 red cards! before the tactic i had none :S

Suggestion:Set bechio to targetman with to feet setting. Also ensure you have wide men with decent pace, any chance of looking at your posession in those games? I can only think its a small player to position/role issue. Well blended with the match prep so thats not it. Another possible fix if mid is your problem set the 2 cm's long shots to rarely. Let me know how it goes mate
 
ok i havent downloaded a formation yet for fm11 so your be the first i will try this out with qpr give you feed back in a hour or two
 
I don't think possession is the problem, i felt it needed a target man, so i have now made griffiths the TM because i sold bechio lol and will make changes to the CM's

That helps alot, possesions a little low and seems that simply the ccc's arent getting taken. Im guessing you have position specific training schedules, assign you Fb's and CB's with passing individual training, also check your midfields set to the roles correctly, especially cdm. From what you have watched how are you conceding?
 
just a quick update, made the changes and beat doncaster 4-1 at there ground! will carry on testing! i know given time the tactic will come good :)

im conceding thur the middle of the park, and sloppy passing from the backline lol i need to invest in some decent defenders!

This is an interesting test at the championship,I recomend a decent striker in january xD. 70 pct of ccc's fall to the St targetman or not
 
i think my left back is a weakness, just got offer accepted for a steven hammell from motherwell 80k, decent passin among other good things



what you think?

Looks like a great signing at Lb, put some cheap youngsters and FA's in a earlier post. Fabian Brandy will be a good ST maybe? Borini on loan maybe? For AMR maybe when you can sign Barkloth or something from goteborg 18 years old. Try to invest in some youth, for full back maybe have a look at andre blackman at wimbledon
 
I tried to sign Brandy but he wasnt interested, but i just beat 2nd place swansea at there place 4-1 and now on to top of the table nottm forest!

i have a number of decent youth player ariean white LB, s.watts (loan) jojo shev (loan) and Verdi (loan) and my best player so far david hoilett (loan) i need to sign him, his doing great at AMR
