Hi guys, I'm coaching AC Milan and I currently am in the pre - season 2017. I decided to employ a 4-4-2 diamond narrow tactic for the next season(s). I do have 2 great fast ST (Ayoze Perez and Gabriel Barbosa) but I want to bring in 2 big strikers (Lukaku type). I will be continuing my game tomorow, so I wanted to ask some recomandations from you guys. I am interested in big, strong strikers. Age doesnt really matter as long as they are not older than 30.

I'm not sure what this has to do with tactics?

I just need a good target man that can play in a partnership with a good poacher. It's quite self-explanatory.

Yes, but what does that have to do with tactics? You have a Target Man and you have a Poacher. It sounds like you're after players, not tactical advice.

Good god, put it however you like. I just need an opinion, btw do you have one ? :)

Why does it matter so much to you if it's in the right section or not? It's not that far off. Stop acting like some autistic dipshit.

**** off. I asked what the tactical relevance was. If some moron can't read that he's in the Tactics section, that's not my issue.

Do you not already have a fairly big, strong forward in Niang? There's some guy called Acevedo, think he's a number of nationalities, may be Brazilian may be Italian - I recommend him from previous experiences.

Clearly you have a issue with it, and that also shows how much of a **** you are, if this annoys you, because you should be have bigger issues to think about than that someone posted in the wrong section of a Football Manager forum.

Just answer the kid or **** off lol

"Not my issue" you say, yet you make several posts about this. I think that guy called you what you are, autistic.

I already sold Niang last season because he wasnt working enough on and off the pitch. He is a good as a lone striker in my opinion, if there are other players to create chances for him, but in a striker partnership he will not work as long as he is the one who needs to create chances for the other guy. Ty for recomanding Acevedo, I will look into it.

Fair enough, the guy once had so much potential, and seemed to have all the credentials, who did you sell him to and for how much?
Also, I don't know much about him now, I did a couple years back, think he still plays for PSV, Locadia?

I sold him to Sampdoria for 11M euros. Locadia is good(ish) but he just signed a new contract at his current club. About Niang, if you even need a cheap lone striker as AF or CF-A, this guy is a machine. In my previous save at AC Milan, I played him as a main striker (AF) in a highly succesful 4-2-3-1 in the first season because I was forced by an injury on Bacca (7 months). He was supported by an IF's (Bonaventura) and a Winger-A (Menez). Niang scored 21 goals in about 20 games or so, also having 5-6 assists. He was simply briliant. When Bacca recovered from injury, I just sold him because Niang was a guarantee. After 3 seasons he scored about 100 goals and I sold him to Man City for 85M. It was something like this:

-------------------------------Donarumma-------------------------

----De sciglio---------Zapata-----------Romagnolli---------Achraf Lazaar----

---------------Bertolacci (Regista)------------De Jong (BMW-D)-------------

----Menez WA---------------------Honda EG--------------------Bonaventura IF's

------------------------------------Niang AF-----------------------------------

He also played remarkable in a 4-3-3 system as a lone striker with CF-S role. I had 2 IF's with Attack duty on the flanks. He was playing very very well in that tactical system aswell, scoring lots of goals and assisting like a mad man. However, his strong suit is also his downfall (at least in my playstyle): he never got me results in a striker partnership. He is briliant as a lone striker but thats it. I strongly recommand you this player if you ever need to loan one in the first 2 seasons or even buy him if you have the chance. Thanks for the replies maxchaplin55.

from personal experiace play barbosa as a CF(S) and perez as an AF. i had both of them on my spurs save and they a great partnership.
