Are you using orginal Home and away tactic without any tweaks?

I have removed "get stuck in" from the team instructions in both tactics and also removed "tackle harder" on any player who had the individual instruction.

I also added the first tweak that the thread starter suggested for the away tactic.

The third tactic that I use is in some ways the most important. This is a shut up shot tactic and It can be implemented as soon as you are a couple of goals up if you wish and I have NEVER lost a 2 goal lead after implementing it.

In season 1 I pretty much used the Home tactic at home and the Away tactic away, but when massive underdogs at home I have used the away tactic at home and when massive underdogs away I have started with the SUS tactic and I did get some very good results doing so.

In season 2 I use the home tactic more and more because we are now big favourites for a lot of away games and eventually I wont have any use for the away tactic, but will continue to implement the SUS tactic as and when needed when a couple of goals up or more.

This tactic is simply insane. Probably one of the best I've ever tried in any FM- game. I ONLY used the home tactic through the whole season.

Went through my first season with Man United, winning the league with 38 - 0 - 0, FA- Cup, League Cup and Champions League. Scored 131 goals in the league to beat the all time record of 128 standing from 1923, conceded only 14, and beat many of the best teams by big figures.

I more or less divide my first team squad into 2 competitive elevens, and let them play together to evolve good chemistry, maintain fresh legs and less injuries through the whole season. Im sure one of my strikers would be the topscorer in the league by far , if I let them start every game, but I prefer it this way with the whole team contributing, while also avoiding complaints about playing time.

I have never had a better first season ever, and I can assure that I didn't cheat once.

Transfers in : Belotti, De Ligt, Sessegnon, Lozano, Tierney
Transfers out : Smalling

No tweaks used at all. Team training done by my assistant Bernhard Peters, Individual training set by me. No OI.
do you use the original tactics from the op ??

This has a bit of everybody's tactic wise in it so thank you everybody..... reason for posting is to improve even more.

NOTES... strikers score full backs take corners and you win games.

left back takes left corners right back takes right corners

im no fancy writer but will answer any questions.

please no haters i like you want to win.

GOOD LUCK

How did you get "Close down more" as an individual instruction for your wingers on attack duty? I don't even have that option when building a tactic... only "less urgent" pressing intensity is possible...

EDIT: that actually goes for the entire midfield... can't seem to select more urgent pressing for any of those positions under those duties

EDIT EDIT: nvm I figured it out, had to do with the "tactical preset". Sorry for the redundant post.

I took a look to the version of !FM19.2VOLANTE424ASUS-Wing Tweak you've posted

Strange positioning of the strikers, could you explain the improvements given by this? thx

This is knaps 424 shut up shop tactic, I just moved them from AML/R to MRL/R I've never lost a 2 goal lead yet when using it.

Just started using this formation (would stick to the Home formation for now though) and things seem to be quite promising as it looks-- but Pressing Forward isn't a role that my strikers are good at, was wondering if there would be any alternative? lets say both advance forward/ poachers or pairing it by a DLF (S) with a striker of different role?

Thanks!
