It's been a turbulent fortnight at Newcastle United. Chris Hughton's sacking shocked the St. James' Park faithful and eyebrows were raised when the hardly overly successful Alan Pardew was appointed in his place.
A lack of experience was cited as the reason for Hughton's dismissal, and with a possible eye on the January transfer window it was perhaps such experience in the market that Newcastle owner Mike Ashley was referring too.
According to reports, Ashley is ready to give Pardew a sizable transfer kitty to strengthen his side, with some suggesting it could be as much as £20 million.
Where the Magpies do need bolstering is up front.
Andrew Carroll has had a sensational start to the season with 10 goals and five assists in 17 games – an efficiency ratio of a goal or assists every 96.33 minutes. But the 21-year-old is lacking a strike partner to take a bit of the weight off his broad shoulders.
Shola Ameobi has put in a good effort with three goals and two assists. But the 29-year-old, once considered a hot England prospect, has not really met expectations, and one gets the feeling if the Magpies want to push on, they could do with signing a top striker to provide Carroll with better foil.
Newcastle youngster Nile Ranger is an interesting prospect, but at 19 years of age, he's not quite ready yet.
While the Magpies are unlikely to spend £20 million on one player, here are four strikers IMScouting feel Pardew should realistically take a look at.

With an efficiency ratio of a goal or assist every 87.74 minutes, Suazo was the most effective attacking player in the Mexican top flight this season.
The Chilean scored 16 goals and set up four, helping his side clinch the Apertura title.
In spite of his chubby physique, Suazo is an extremely dangerous striker from any range.
He has very good movement and flair, and likes to play with one touch. Suazo is a courageous player who tends to raise his game in important matches, and indeed scored three times in the championship playoffs.
Suazo might not be the fastest and his heading game is not of a high calibre, but his strength and dribbling skills make his so hard to play against, and he could certainly pose a challenge to Premiership defences.
He has scored 18 goals in 45 games for Chile.

The former Liverpool man, so unlucky with injuries in the past, is really showing what he can do, albeit, critics would say, in the Greek league.
The Frenchman has been in sparkling form for Panathinaikos Athens with 13 goals and an assist in 19 games – an efficiency ratio of a goal or assists every 87.54 minutes.
Cisse is a quick, skilful and explosive striker, who has an excellent right foot, great heading ability, and has improved his finishing.
He scored 13 goals in 49 games during his injury-plagued time at Liverpool, and later found the net 10 times in 35 games for Sunderland. The figures would suggest that if given a run of games, Cisse does have it in him to adapt to the Premier League.

Current Sunderland boss Steve Bruce might have called the Egyptian the most unprofessional player he has even worked with after coaching the player at Wigan, but he could never deny his terrific talent.
Zaki is keen on getting back to high-level European football, and if his eagerness is matched by the willingness to learn from his mistakes, he can be a real asset to Newcastle.
He has scored three goals and set up another in seven games for Al Zamalek Cairo this term, a goal and an assist every 156.5 minutes.
Zaki, who has scored 33 goals in 61 games for Egypt, is a very dangerous striker. He has fantastic movement without the ball and he is a very strong player, who is excellent in the air and always works hard for his team.
His cash-strapped club would find an offer difficult to turn down, and would even be willing to loan him out in the hope that his value will rise.
