I would use flanks as they have IF's that will cut in and you can expose that. If they had wingers then you could switch to middle.

I would use the tweak version and then adjust to middle whenever you see a team that plays wide.

what diff with teaked ?

On the update version, have you changed any of the team instructions from the original post or they upto date in the opening post

Working well so far had a bad run so changed to this. Doesn't quite suit my players but racked up 3 wins and a draw against the league leaders in my first 4 games so all looks good so far

Nope team instructions are the same just PI and roles.

Currently going well with Cheltenham Town but the main weakness is away games (as in every save) so working on that.

i used the first version of your tactics with excellent results, i think these two tactics are the best around if you exclude 3 striker formations. Gonna try the tweak

Thanks, I am still trying to work out an away tweak that concedes a few less but it's tricky without losing the goals scored.

Just won the league with 96 points on GD vs wolves. We were 19 pts clear of 3rd. Using the tweak, but occasionally changing mentality

Improved the squad in the summer and just beat Man Utd 5-2 opening game at home

13-39 shots but ccc were 5-1 and mentality was counter.

I've been a long time visitor of FM Base but never posted. I created an account because I feel like this tactic hasn't got as much love from the forum as it should, which is a shame as it's a fun tactic. I plugged it in with Sunderland about half way through the first season. I've been looking for something that isn't a 3 striker tactic. I wanted a formation that you can easily adapt to most club's teams without having to offload 4 or 5 wingers or retrain them into positions they aren't truly natural for. Out of all of the tactics I've tried this one has been the most fun so far. There's been a lot of variety in the goals we've scored. We've scored some cracking counter-attacking goals, had a lot of great through ball goals, goals from crosses from the wingers. This is what makes FM fun for me.

The wingers in this tactic being set to raumdeuters are extremely effective. They do it all rather than just being set to either crossing or cutting in. The DM's being set to Segundo Volantes do a great job of resticting the amount of crossing goals that this years FM has been prone to. What I'm saying is, If you're struggling to enjoy FM this year, give this tactic a try.

used this tactic with dynamo Kiev managed to win the league with only two draws and one early loss to shakhtar, while the Ukrainian league is a two team league I did manage to win the Euro Cup beating AC Milan 4-3 in the final, still have to play in the cup final also

so yea its a pretty good tactic should definitely be getting more love on the forum, not to mention majority of my XI is players 21 and younger

started another save this time with Galatasaray, did a domestic double was bounced early in the Euro Cup round of 32 losing to Celtic on agg 2-1 but just like my other save this tactic has been really great

Right after the winter break, playing in the cup vs Monaco.

0:2 after 27 minutes, but after yelling at the the team, they managed to win the game.

Monaco is currently leading the ligue 1.

What version are people using? I'm using the tweaked version and it's not doing me any good at all. Just wondered if it would be better trying the flanks and middle versions and seeing how that goes.

did a save with hamburg finished second place with transfers disabled first window, also managed to get to the final german cup...lost alot of key players in the winter and lost my leading goalscorer to City but still managed to compete with the league including a 8-1 victory over Dortmund!!

they are relegation candidates so very impressive

Are you playing with just the tweak version or with the other two?
