I've been a long time visitor of FM Base but never posted. I created an account because I feel like this tactic hasn't got as much love from the forum as it should, which is a shame as it's a fun tactic. I plugged it in with Sunderland about half way through the first season. I've been looking for something that isn't a 3 striker tactic. I wanted a formation that you can easily adapt to most club's teams without having to offload 4 or 5 wingers or retrain them into positions they aren't truly natural for. Out of all of the tactics I've tried this one has been the most fun so far. There's been a lot of variety in the goals we've scored. We've scored some cracking counter-attacking goals, had a lot of great through ball goals, goals from crosses from the wingers. This is what makes FM fun for me.
The wingers in this tactic being set to raumdeuters are extremely effective. They do it all rather than just being set to either crossing or cutting in. The DM's being set to Segundo Volantes do a great job of resticting the amount of crossing goals that this years FM has been prone to. What I'm saying is, If you're struggling to enjoy FM this year, give this tactic a try.
