I'll be honest, I've played players out of position due to a small squad, players that are very average and stats not very good, so it seems it doesn't really matter what the stats are. Obviously, the better the key stats for defending (tackling, positioning), midfield (passing, vision) attack (pace, finishing) the better the results.
OK, so it seems that we can use this tactics simply as plug & play and tweaks are not necessary.
However, I still wonder who should take the most central spot in the attacking trio. Should it be a striker with the best finishing and off the ball skills or maybe there are other skills that are more important in this central spot, for example strength, jumping and heading?
