I would like to share my FM2010 tactics that is used for national team of Northern Ireland (download it following this link - FM 2010 tactics). I consider it successful because of the following series of results achieved in the season #6:

Georgia – Northern Ireland 0:2
Northern Ireland – Denmark 2:0
Northern Ireland – Portugal 1:1

3 central midfielders and 5 defenders should make a hint you the tactics is targeted at playing through the center. That’s why Focus Passing instruction is set to the value. Pay attention at Rigid Philsophy and Disciplined Creative Freedom as well. These two instructions mean that team will try to play more academic football with low amount of unpredictable actions. this tactical approach allows to control ball and create goal moments frequently even if you team is much worse than opponent's team.
