Crewe Alexandra.
The reason i picked Crewe is because of their famous academy which has produced players such as Dean Ashton and Danny Murphy.
We are predicted to finish 19th this season but i think we can do better than that and quite honestly i will be dissapointed if we can't get into the top 10.
This is the squad that i am starting with and will look to add to this in the transfer window.

You have a striker called Clayton, who is leaving at the end of the season, ask him to sack his agent he should accept if he says no, insist, should then agree. Will make offering him a new deal easier!

First of all lets start with the transfers.

So not many transfers and this is because i found it very difficult to convince players to join because Crewe is not the richest club and even with the money from selling Clayton which i was pretty much forced to do my age budget still didnt allow me to sign many players.
Pre season results.

A very boring game but helped the fitness of the players no end.

This game started to show me my style of football being implemented as we break forward with the ball very quickly which allows us to catch our opponents out.

Crewe 2-1 Chelsea U21's
(Aneke, Tootle)
This game was just simply to raise some money for the club and also provided us with a very good result.

Crewe 0-1 NAC Breda
A difficult game for us as their defence was solid against our counter attacks.

Crewe 0-0 Reading
Simply just another game to raise a bit of money and again a good result for us.

Leek 0-0 Crewe.
Another game where the opposition's defence were very solid, i will have to think of a plan b to break down teams.

Crewe 4-1 Rotherham
(McDermott (2) Davis, Tootle)
A very good performance by us to start the season, our loan signing was very impressive on the day.

(McDermott (2) Aneke, West)
Another great performance from the team and from McDermott who has scored 4 goals in 2 games.

A valuable point for us against a team who will most likely be in the playoffs.

Donal McDermott.
He has been brilliant since joining on loan and long may it continue.

So sitting nicely in 5th place which is even better than i expected so im very happy with the start to life as Crewe manager.

Wish I would of thought of that :/ thanks for the advice thoughWe'll selling Clayton, try and push the PL teams to 2m... But make sure you add "loan back to end of season" option when negotiating. That way you get 2m for your club and Clayton on loan for a season
