same 4-1-4-1 as we used last time we beat them, kooma moves to lb so I can get the russo murley collum combination going again.

the first half was the best weve ever played, we looked like scoring every time we attacked. second half not so good, but we went defensive after they got back to 4-3 and they didn't have another attack after that. their first goal was frustrating as roots cleared the ball, but it hit meakins back and put jovetic through on goal.a great ball from rao set up murley to finish from a narrow angle just 10 minutes after. collum then tried playing it to jallow,but a defender got their first,then the ball landed back in to collums path and he took a touch then smashed it into the top corner. a brilliant 1-2 between gonzalez and jallow then put jallow through on goal and he slotted it past the keeper. collum then took a wide free kick, rao flicked it on and meakin arrived to slot it home. tala missed a key header after that for pepic to score from a cross. jovetic scored straight after when kooma was ripped apart by the Montenegro right winger.
RANDOM PLAYER WATCH- Daniel Murley
a key member of our right sided trio played brilliantly today, getting a goal and an assist for us.
MAN OF THE MATCH- Akshay Rao
2 assists from the left winger, who was superb throughout and offered the midfielders an option when passing with his brilliant runs for them to play through.
WORST PLAYER OF THE MATCH- Armin Tala
missed a key header leading to their goal and wasn't that solid otherwise either.

Hopefully, a few players are working towards the fringes of their clubs at the moment( about 4 players have debuted for a big club since we got into the euros) but you'll have your work cut out at bayern, hope your at least top division if you do go on loan rather than being in bayerns 2nd team in division 3 where Waddell is at the moment

first game vs Belgium we played our 4-1-4-1 formation and got picked off whenever our full backs attacked.
second game I did some stuff ive never done before- played my full backs set to full back rather than wing back,and told my team to drop deeper rather than press high up the pitch! full back defend aswell. they had a massive 45 shots but so many were from long range and didn't trouble the keeper. both goals came from corners which we need to work on before the euros.

A difficult draw looking at first,but on closer inspection we have an ok chance.russia batter our group,but with another year under our young players belts well be better than we was in qualifying,so have a chance of getting something from them.austria are a good side,but if were going to get anywhere we need to beat them. England may be good, but they are not spain or Germany, so if I was offered them as top seed at the start I probably would have accepted them. also with the rule change, I believe 3/4 points will get us through as the top 4 3rd place finishers go to the next round(because they changed the amount of teams to 24) so im slightly optimistic of getting to the knockout stages.

very worried that this could be embarrassing in the euros, stuck between defending,which is still conceding and not scoring. and just going for it and attacking,which could lead to an embarrassing scoreline. the last game was purposely just before the euros to give us a bit of confidence going into it on the back of a win. will hopefully get through the euros groupstage tomorrow, first game is against Austria.
