Have been thinking about this for just under a week now and if it would work or not so i thought i would put it to the masses and see what you all think.

Basically what i wanted to do was get shot of all twenty premiership sides and replace them with Blue Square North/South sides.

I just thought it would be interesting to see who would come out on top and who would struggle. Since most of those sides have the same level it would be a very open league.

Since none of them will have any financial backing either the second season will be a laugh aswell with say AFC Telford getting 30m for winning the league then another 30m in tv money. Who would they sign? how would there rep change?

Do you think the 4 teams near the top in the first year would then just dominate every year?

Would this make a good patch or is it something i should just update every season in a thread?

Then there is the question of the original premiership sides, where would i put them? and who would be in the championship? more lower league sides to keep it going properly.

Let me know your thoughts and idea's ?

Sounds fun.... Put all the Premiership clubs in the lower leagues too, see what happens :)

Yea i might have to stick them in the lower league's. I think i will make the DB then put myself on holiday every season to see what happens then update everyone.

Will also upload it for anyone who wants to use it

i will play that seems intresting

Put the big 4 in the Blue Square Premier or even the North and south Leagues,it will also be interesting to see the effect it has on them without the TV money and lower sponsorship money, and will they still get packed stadiums week in week out,yes it will be interesting.

Aww. There was me thinking i was quite bright coming up with this idea but this guy seems to have it sorted. I will download his DB. If it's **** or doesnt meet my standard i will amend it.

If not i will use it, go on holiday and update you all with whats happening.

Or i might just play as like Bolton in the conference and see what happens

Ok so i downloaded this guys db and it looks good so i went Portsmouth. Aiming for the play offs

Ok So i loaded the game twice. Once just for me and again for when the gf is over and i can put it on holiday mode.

Got the first season out of the way and St Albans won the Premiership. Everton and Sheff Utd both went into Administration and about 80 managers were sacked.

attached a few screenshots

Also if anyone wants to see anything else let me know.

How ironic,Liverpool finally pip Man Utd to the championship, unfortunately its in the Blue Square North. Not happy about Boro finishing below Sunderland and Newcastle and missing out on the play offs.

What were the attendances like for the teams Kris?

Wow this guys database looks fun :)

Just downloading it, who is in Europe?

gonna be late for work, will tell all soon

pics up though

Wow!!! Arsenal get back in the Premier and win it.

What Skin is that Kris?

Right so i left my pc on all night and it got me to the 2017-2018 season. St Albans went on some run !! Even making it to the Champions League final.

After the second season they had 80m in the bank :O. Afc Wimbledon also seem to have had a spell as a big team but most of the old premierleague sides are back :(

Arsenal were champions for two seasons but then Leicester won it :D

Teams like Stoke,Fulham,Hull,Sunderland and Blackburn are all kind of ****

Really gutted Tamworth went down the year before because they were building a great team for a few seasons so i don't know where they went wrong.

They spent 10m on Crouch and from his stats he did amazing, He is now on there coaching staff

I decided it would be fun to take control of St Albans at this point and try recapture there old form. They gave me 40m to spend lol

JP Here is the link to the skin, It's called DDS09

So the natural order of things slowly start to balance themselves out.Shame about that. :(

I know it's a bit gutting. Perhaps it would work as a netgame ? since human players would take better actions and maybe make better use of the cash.

because of Everton and Sheff Utd struggling for money i thought with the big 4 and there debt they would struggle a bit but no.

When i checked there funds though they are all either ok or secure. Maybe as the years go on this will take effect

Even though i started as St Albans im going to keep it going on holiday and just save it as something else. I want to see what happens in maybe another ten years

When I downloaded this the file was corrupt :( I hope it works this time!..

---------- Post added at 10:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:49 AM ----------

Could someone help? It says the files are all corrupt. Could someone tell me how to fix it or could anyone upload it themselves so I could download it? It would be much appreciated!

Thats what happened to me. Google it

someone has a thread about it on sortitoutsi which has a filefront link and that one works

That is exactly what I was thinking the other day.
You could swap all the leagues so that Blue Square North/South teams would be in the Premiership.Of course there is the flaw that the three teams that finish last in both the Blue Square North and the Blue Square South would be out of the game...
