I've been thinking, is it too early to buy a proper domain name? I mean at the minute as it's still in the editing stage I am under a ".ownbb.com" domain but they look so tacky. Or should I wait until my forum is at least in the beta stages before releasing the domain name?
 
whats the story about having a section on fm base just for stories and a story of the month etc

This has been discussed and I *think* there will be a Story section (category/sub-forum) on FM-Base when FM10 is released. Not certain though.

Yes there will be. I'm not bothering with one for FM 09 as FM 10 is out in a few weeks and it's just daft to add one now.

But if you had a story of the month that would mean people would be starting new games after each month and there would be hundreds of story thread

Maybe after 6-7 months of the game being out people will have create a story and people can vote who has the best one something like that.
 
if i created a forum for all sorts of games would anyone join?

Somebody just asked me how to upload images onto the forum.

At the minute due to the site being under construction it's not possible to upload your own pictures.

However, you can use pictures from google images or any other site. Follow these instructions:
1. Right click the image and select "copy image URL"
2. When on the post a topic screen, Click the button labelled IMG
2. Then
should appear on your post.
3. Paste your link into the middle of

When the site is complete it should have a button similar to FM-base.
