Having continued on and sold Sime Vrsaljko (and caught flak from my fans for it) as well as Darmian I got Mario Fernandes as well and he is really good. Also have Pleissack and Valencia that comes in as either RB or Wingers. Working out pretty well. :)

I think Valencia is good enough to be first choice...he's killing it on my save...

I'm in 2020 now so he's a bit less effective as first choice, but he is still there and ready to jump in if I need him to. Having Pleissack and Valencia available means I can field one of the two at the start of the game (I usually rotate them so they each get good game time) with the one on bench ready to come on as RB or winger.

I really love having guys who can play many positions. :D

Valencia is great as a WB,RB or R winger, shame he is getting on a bit age wise. That said he is a good back up option.

Felix Passlack from Dortmund. Turns into a great right back for me, that's the reason I ended up selling Darmian for 30mill.
