A little help please?

Normally when I download a data update for FM07 it extracts itself correctly into a folder and everything is fine. I recently downloaded one which doesnt extract so I manually placed it within the folder which I believed to be correct, the db folder within the football manager 2007 folder. But when I load up the game it hasnt been updated or changed in the slightest.

Am I placing it within the right folder C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\db ?

Should I be doing something else? Your ideas would be helpful, thanks!

have u selected the update you want from the list when creating a new game

Ah ive done it now at first the option to select wasnt available, thanks for you help!
