End of August update
So here is how the season is getting on after August, Note I made an error with the pictures from this update, wont be happening again, sorry! Anyway hope you enjoy reading
First Friendly
2-0 at AGOVV, good solid win. Kalinic scoring on non-competitive debut.
Second Friendly
Dominated here and made a lot of chances, should of scored more really.
Third Friendly
Scored plenty of goals but conceded.
Fourth Friendly, first at home
Truely great performance, very happy with the result. Also could of scored more so good day.
Last Friendly
Another good performance and a good way to finish pre-season
-So Pre-season went very well, solid wins all throughout, happy with how the team played together, the few signings will be cleared up down this update.
FIRST LEAGUE GAME OF THE SEASON, HOME TO MAN CITY!!! 1-0
An incredible result, never saw it coming

over the moon, only the first game I know but a quality result and a great way to start the season in front of the fans.
Second game, Home to Burnley 3-3
I guess their rivals so it they must have been pumped up for the game, still disappointed to concede 3 at home to Burnley after stopping City from scoring, never mind, still get another point.
Away to Tottenham 3-2
Cannot believe it!! After 2-0 down in the first 10 minutes I thought it was all over, then to win 3-2. Quality

. Manager Jack Hornett said afterwards ‘It was simply magnificent’.
Home to Blackpool(2nd round league cup) 0-2
Seriously unfortunate, just check out the match stats, chance conversion rate is below 10% :|. Oh well only league cup but still very frustrating to see all the chances go begging.
Last game of this update, Away day at Everton 1-1
Jack Hornett immediately after game: ‘I feel we could have won the game after Everton being put down to 10men however, if someone had offered me this result before the game, I would of grabbed it with both hands.’
OFF FIELD INFORMATION!
Haven’t been that busy at all in the transfer market. Sold a few youngsters to gain some cash as there was no other way to raise it, bought in a few key players and 18 year old Scottish midfielder John Fleck is one of them.
John said Blackburn was to good too turn down and couldn’t of missed out on this opportunity.
My personal award to my player of the month: Kalinic, been deadly with 4 goals in 4 and 2 assists too help!
