A trick to signing German players.

Just thought of this "exploit". Since the German team is unplayable, and it is full of grey players. If you see a superb player/regen from the nation, you can offer their club a mammoth fee for international appearances, and then nothing up front, in full knowledge they'll never be picked for that app!
 
Good good, altough I think some of us use that trick of erasing stuff and getting the german team playable ^^

Don't know yet, Bayern were being stubborn with this amazing regen, so I fronted £10m with £80m for an international cap. So I'll be buggered if it doesn't. :P
 
I thought that after a while regens started getting picked, no current players do though. I may well be wrong though.
 
Yeah it does work. I think I tried it a while ago (H)

Their youth squads are all full of grey players too though, so I doubt it.
 
Good Job then Joel. But all of you remeber to do this only if you don't have Germany enabled, otherwise you might be in for a nasty surprise. XD

They definitely don't - I have the best right back in the world at 25 and he hasn't been picked once and he's German :)
 
Thats a pretty good idea, shame i have the real German team :(
 
Awesome - this never occured to me before. I had those files deleted that allows the german team to work but since i downloaded patch 11.3 the german team is greyed out again mid-save, 8 years into my game. First i was a bit annoyed about it but now you have pointed out this exploit i'm actually happy its greyed out again (6)
 
I'm surprised people haven't thought of this. I've been doing it throughout 2011, it didn't seem to work on 2010 tho if I remember..
 
I heard this idea suggested before, but now that people are saying it works I might have to try it. Does anyone think Muller would come to Malaga?
 
Sorry to drop this one here guys, but is this really any better than just using FMRTE and dropping the player in your squad....?
