After months of speculation Roberto Martinez has left Wigan after agreeing to mutually terminate his contract in search of greater things for himself.Roberto said "He enjoyed his time at Wigan as manager and player, he will never forget everything the club has done with him and for him. Dave Whelan reveals that un-proven manager Josh Fairhurst is going to be the man to take the club forward and he has spoken of his excitement and ideas that Josh has in mind for the club.At the press conference Josh stated that if was a fantastic opportunity for him and as a local lad he feels he knows what the fans want and he cannot wait to get started. He also let known that he was hoping to secure a mid-table finish and hopes to achieve this at a minimum and was also hoping for a decent cup run.
