Tottenham announce new 3rd kit!

Its not very often this happens, but Tottenham and Puma have today proudly introduced Tottenham's new 3rd kit. Lorenzo commented tht he had asked the board to approuch Puma on creating a new 3rd kit after he wasn't very hapy with the current 3rd kit which was yellow. But will this spark numerous angry messages at the club after buying the yellow kit?

The answer is NO. Tottenham chiefs have also stated that if fans come to the ground with a yellow jersey, it can be swapped for the new one. This move has been backed by Lorenzo. With no plans yet on when they will first wear the new kit, the fans can only look forward to swapping for their new kit.

Mancini : I Want Modric!

In a statement on the club's official website, Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has publicaly delcared that he is interested in signing Tottenham's Croatian midfielder Luka Modric.

Mancini went on to say that money is not the issue and he is prepared to pay big to achieve the signing of Modric. Modric is said to be the perfect player to accompany Gareth Barry in the centre of midfield, playing just infront of De Jong. With Modric attacking and Barry playing just in support to him, it is seen as the ideal way forward for Manchester City.

Manchester were taken over by a billionare and have so far only made 2 big signings, Luis Suarez for £22million and Alexzander Kolarov from Lazio for £7.75million. With the expected signing of Luka Modric, this would likely greatly rise as Tottenham will likely not go cheaply.

Manchester City just to good on the day!

4-2

Manchester City took advantage of a poor Tottenham defence by managing to net 4 goals past them. Goals from Carlos Tevez, Luis Suarez, Emmanuel Adebayor and Jerome Boateng handed The Citizens a vital 3 points in the Title Race. Tottenham had so far only lost to Chelsea and were sitting only a point behind their London Rivals. Chelsea, playing on Sunday, now have the chance to go 4 points ahead. Manchester City on the other hand closed to gap on Tottenham to 2 points.

Tottenham did take the lead through a goal from Robbie Keane and also equalised to make it 2-2 before half - time through a 5th league goal from Gabriel Agbonlahor. But in the end it wasn't enough for Spurs and they travel home from The City of Manchester Stadium dissappointed.

Tottenham confirm Hernanes signing!

Tottenham have today confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Brazilian side Sao Paulo over the transfer of Hernanes. The deal is said to be worth in the region of £15million, but Chairman Daniel Levy was quick to point out that once again that the money would be paid over a period of 48 months, and, that no money was paid upfront to Sao Paulo.

Hernanes, 24, is a very highly rated centre midfielder. Having attracted the interest of many top European sides, Lorenzo is said to be delighted that he has signed his man. Lorenzo added that it was Hernanes' versitile playing ability that attracted him. Hernanes is an accomplished right and left midfielder, so can cover should any injury worries come up.

Hernanes has also been awarded with 4 caps for Brazil, though has yet to get of the mark in terms of scoring. He has now made 203 appearances for Sao Paulo and netted 32 goals at the age of 24.

He will be the second player that Lorenzo will have arriving in January, as F.C Barcelona's young talisman Bojan will also be joining in a deal worth £38million plus Aaron Lennon.

Defoe and Agbonlahor put Jones' Fulham into further Relagation troubles!

4-1

Dave Jones watched on with a sour face as his side were convincly beaten by a great Spurs side today. Lorenzo got his tactics spot on as his forwards demolished Hangeland and Hughes. Both players netting a brace each, but Defoe's finishes were more difficult than Agbonlahor's. The pair have formed a deadly partnership up - front so far this season and fans are calling for Capello to play them together for England and drop Wayne Rooney to the bench. Peter Crouch also made a rare appearance coming on from the bench to set up Agbonlahor's 2nd with a headed through ball after a clearance from Sandro. Reports are now saying tht Crouch is unsettled and unhappy with life at White Hart Lane. Neither player or manager has confirmed this.

In other news though, Chelsea's draw at home to Manchester United sees them drop to 2nd as Tottenham go top by 1 point. Fulham remain 19th.

Tottenham fail to make last 16 of the UEFA Champions League!

1-0

Despite winning 1-0 and picking up 3 points, Tottenham fans left White Hart Lane dissappointed due to the fact that their side had failed in their attempt to make it into the Last 16 of the UEFA Champions League. F.C Kobenhavn, who had already qualified on 10 points before the game had nothing to lose. Considered the heavy outsiders in the group, they are currently topping it but only on goal differance. F.C Kobenhavn also beat F.C Barcelona 2-1 at the Camp Nou which also boosted their chances. But, 3 defeats for Tottenham almost ruined their chances and they've failed to make the differance up. With one game left against Zenit St. Petersburg, Tottenham have 3rd place secure and will slot into the Europa League. Defoe was on the scoresheet for Tottenham.

Breaking News : Tottenham's Luka Modric Requests Transfer

Georgie : Yes Ian we have some Breaking News coming from White Hart Lane.

Ian : Our Sky Sources are telling us that Tottenham's Luka Modric has expressed his desire to LEAVE White Har Lane and infact requested a transfer.

Georgie : Sad news for Tottenham fans indeed. Modric is a key player in the side and his influence would be sadly missed, but we can cross over now to Nick Collins our Chief Football Reporter to get more on this.

Nick : Thanks Georgie, Yes, the rumours are infact true as Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy has released an official club statement stating Luka's desire to leave. He stated that although Luka has expressed his desire to leave, no bids hav been made yet.

Ian : What has sparked this sudden request Nick?

Nick : Well Ian, Manchester City Manager Roberto Mancini has been sniffing around of late and has expressed continued desire in the Croatian. With Manchester City's reputation constantly growing in world football now, I believe that Luka myst see this as an ideal oppourtunity to jump ship.

Georgie : Surely though Lorenzo could reject the request, Nick?

Nick : He could yes, but Lorenzo also issued a statement saying that if Luka didn't want to play for his club, then he wouldn't. Lorenzo disciplines the squad well and unless Modric does back down in his transfer demand, he may have already played his last game for Spurs.

Ian : On the other hand though, Tottenham could now challenge teams a large fee in order to replace?

Nick : Again, i have to agree with you, reports from inside the club are already suggesting that they're looking for a fee starting at £26.5million. But, other reports are suggesting that Lorenzo might try and swap Modric for Robinho in a no cash straight up swap.

Georgie : They hve to sell him though, a swap deal for Robinho surely wouldnt be on..

Nick : Well you'd be surprised Georgie. Tottenham had made a bid of £12million that was turned down in October. Its now December and Robinho has played 1 game in the league, and only made 1 substitute appearance in Europe. He's already expressed his desire to leave and ordered his agent to find him a more suitable team.

Ian : That then springs the question, Robinho or Modric?

Nick : I think I'll leave the viewers to decide that (laughs).

Georgie : Agreed, Thanks for your time Nick.

Nick : Thank You.

Ian : That was Nick Collins there on our Breaking News; Luka Modric has given Antonio Di Lorenzo a transfer request.

Georgie : Yes let us know what you think. You can get in contact via text, email or interactivly by pressing your red button.

Ian : Send your emails to [email protected] or text us on with the word news followed by your name and message. The number is 84408.

Georgie : After the break, we speak to Diego Maradona on his latest drug scandal.
