As a Benfica supporter, and follower of Portuguese league soccer for many years. Congrats on keeping Academica up high for 3 years in a row, it's been tough in real life, for any team to consistently battle Porto and Benfica. Keep up the good work!

Joao Aurelio- Had 9 goals and 10 assists for Nacional last season and replaces Carlos Olascuaga after he was sold.
Bertrand Traore- Will provide cover at all attacking midfield positions.
Valon Berisha- Replaces Marcos Paulo at CM
Tokelo Rantie- Replaces Marcelinho after he retired
Francisco Flores- Replaces Mano and will rotate with Yarouba Cissako at RB
Ivan Marcano- Cover at CB

Patrick: Never broke into the first team so he needed to be sold
Mano: Only made 4 appearances last season and wasn't good enough anymore
Damir Maric: Not good enough for the first team yet but will gain experience with Columbus
Marcos Paulo: Not good enough so he was sold
