Accidentally overwritten my saved game!

Hi guys,

Done the awful thing of setting up another game with my mate, yet somehow I've overwritten my other proper game with this new one - even though I took special care not to! Very strange. Please could someone help me recover it before I overwrote it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thankyou in advance!

If you use windows 7 you can restore the old game to a different point i think

Try right clicking it then search for 'restore' or something like it

dam you're right-forgot about that. worth a try, as it helped somebody with a corrupted save.

Yeah if you use windows 7, open my computer!! --> right click on c: drive... --> and then click properties and then previous verisions and then just select the previous day and navigate your way to your save game folder!!!!!!!

Cheers guys, - I did already have a 3 file rolling save so I'm only been taken about 10 games previous, although this is still really annoying. The restore previous version thing can only give me last week as the most recent which is so frustrating, can't see why it wouldn't let me restore a version that I only saved a few hours ago! Going to ring SI helpline I think. Thanks for all your help

You know after all this time you've spent trying to find ways of doing something that is impossible you could have just like played those 10 games again? I know it's frustrating but it could be worse..

Aannddyy - Oh I know it could be a lot worse, but when you're sitting pretty with Spurs in 3rd, thrash Man United on New Years Eve 5-1, with other big results going your way - it is going to be extremely painful playing out those 10 games again!
