That looks like an old Midsomer by the way. I think it has been updated twice since that tactic.

Knap ... which one is your best tactic ? i want to test it in my new testing league

Interesting question, as I set tactics up on different testing leagues.

The best on Wills old England League is Dazed and Confused followed by Midsomer, Stargazing Live then The Crunge.
West Ham more underdog - Four Sticks (this also tested well on Zyndar'test division) then Black Night
Wills EPL - Asymmetric

I think Midsomer, The Crunge and Asymmetric are the ones that keep getting tested so happy for you to try another.

Sorry to go off topic, but I cannot reply to your PM as you have exceeded your quota.

looking for more updates, the only testing setup that makes sense for me

Latest Midsomer and Annihilator V5 normal version would be the last two tactic being tested in round 1. Proceeding to round 2 with Leicester afterwards.

I must say Knap's original Midsomer, SPECTRE V2 had very strong start and even winning some very hard away matches which all other tactics lost but eventually fall short in the later stages due to drawing and losing easy teams which I would guess it's probably because AI started to play very defensive.

dginola please indulge me and test just one more: zyndar's deadly counter V11, probably the most underrated tactic in the forum at the momment. And it has a big advantage for all FM Touch lovers (like me): NO OI'S! LINK: #527

Ok since I'm gonna break the 10 tactic rules I would include grokk's SPQR too to be fair.
That's it 12's the final number so deadly counter V11 and SPQR would be the last in round 1.

Can you test both Midsomer and The Crunge without OIs.

Thanks dimartino! The correct name is Deadly Circle V11 ;)

I'm now alternating between this and date 442. To alternate does seem to confuse the AI. :)
yes training on tactical.

There are tactics which perform better away than at home, which is why I always look at home/away data as well as overall. One of the best performing away tactics during my actual gameplay with Leicester was Knap's black knight, however it dropped a lot of points at home. So one size does not always fit, having a good home tactic, away tactic and desperado tactic is the best plan.

FM16.3 Flat442 midsomer without oi and stop fm fitness coach after Leicester city game

i think u got the setup wrong suppose to use fitness coch to freeze all team in the league till the test end
