add/remove league problem

Hey guys apparantly when you use the add/remove league function on fm the database keeps all the players from the leagues removed still in the game so a pool of around say 25000 players to start with ends up being around 250000 apparantly SI know about this problem but what wondering if anyone has gotten around this as really want to do a journey man career but my pc isnt the greatest.
