Adding Custom KIT to Created Team FM18 woes

Hoping a seasoned pro can assist; going bonkers and get it is probably somehow user error;

SO to assist, I created a NEW Team - 2062002129 - in the English Premier League with the pre-game editor.

I have added my graphics/kits folder - FYI: my logos/faces etc are all working fine by the way

I had downloaded a Premier League KIT DL and those seem to be getting picked up - but my Team does not???
I removed this - so just mine in the folder now to keep the data limited to work with

I have properly named the files - they are .png, sized properly - the config seems fine and even tried redoing it with an xml generator FMXML - all the same -

I have refreshed the cache - reloaded the skins, yada yada yada - can someone maybe assist; I can take some screen captures if needed;

...my kits just do not get picked up

S.O.S. - HELP

Having set up the whole Team - a whirlwind since - I assume I did a quick one therein; so let's say yes.

I assume this is leading somewheres so over to you?

are you running any other databases, does the id match the skinning ID in game?

No other DB's - the ID matches the Editor and IN-Game; both # 2062002129

I saw that thread and checked; my quotes seem fine - I even went and re-used a config file from the KIT DL'ed to ensure no issues - changing just the file name to correspond properly.

Does creating a KIT in the Pre-Game Editor have any issue? I am only in Pre-Season so am actually going to try re-starting using a new DB to see if that has any bearing; I read some inferences but could not isolate what the effect if any was from KITs in the editor.
 
Ye,s you have to have a default image to overwrite with the png. even just a shirt.

yep - you can also create it in the in game if you have that.

rename the files without the _ in the title, just use home, away and third, and the number is wrong in the third kit line. you have 2120. The gk isnt a 2d graphic you can use, that line can be deleted.

Probably a result of continuous editing/tries; so remade the Team - twice - and the last time, everything seemed to click with the files already in place?!

So must have been a team creation process error -
