Adding downloaded skin

I'm new to this forum and fm 2010, i'm sure some one must have asked before but how do I add a skin I've downloaded off this site so I can use it in the game?

Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2010 > graphics > Skins....then go to peferences display and sound then pick the skin

I've done this and it sin't showing me the skin i want to select.... i have extracted the file and put it in the skins folder but nothing is happening can anyone help???
