normally adjust my defensive line,width and tempo according to the oppositons play.
Eg.
1.Oppositon taking a number of long shots,I push my defensive line up to limit these threats
2.Oppostions playing through balls and drilling crosses,I push my defensive line back or play a normal line with one central defender set to cover
3.If oppositon is playing with Drogba-like lone striker I push my defensive line up and set one defender to cover as these chokes the striker as he is unlikely t have much pace and if he does get the ball,my defender is there to sweep it up but mostly they will try to play it to his head,if so i put my line mack and tight mark that particualr striker
4.If they play with a speed merchant,I set my line deep and they will try to make him run onto the ball
