Advanced Playmaker on the Wing?

How effective is this? Currently struggling to use Januzaj and Mata in my tactic because I'm playing a 4-1-2-2-1 tactic with a DM, two CM's, two wide players and a striker, so was wondering if anybody has tried an AP on the Wing using either Mata or Januzaj and how good it was?

I played Ozil for arsenal on the right in an advanced playmaker role and it transformed him, he was struggling up to that point but easily his best season was in that role. Had a Ramdeuter (unsure on spelling) on opposite wing

Haven't used Mata or Januzaj there, but an AP on the wing can be very effective. It's essentially an inside forward with a freer, more creative role, able to drift where he wants.
