After failing miserably on FM 2009 using other peoples tactics, I have decided to create my own but need advise. I am playing as Liverpool and going to create a 5-2-1-2 formation (3 CBs, 2 WBs, 2 CMs, 1 AM, 2 Sts). First question is in regards to my 3 centre backs. Has anyone got an advise in regards to playing a straight 3 Cbs or 2 man marking CBs and a sweeper.
I have read the Tactics and Theorisms guide and going to play FCd and MFd but don't get the mentality bit. When it say CB mentality should be 8 is this 8 notches up on the slider (i.e. 20 notches on the slider and 10 is the middle). Any advise or ideas would be great as I want to make Liverpool great again.
