Hi folks,

Looking for some advice...

Currently have an mid 2010 21.5 inch iMac

3.06GHz Intel Core i3 processor with 4MB level 3 cache; supports Hyper-Threading
ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR3 memory
4GB (two 2GB SO-DIMMs) of 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM; four SO-DIMM slots support up to 16GB

I'm thinking about upgrading the computer to 16 gig of Ram (was thinking about an ssd instead however, from reading about, the ssd will only help with loading and saving fm and not the actual processing of fixtures etc).

i know a little about computers (but by no means a lot) and i'm aware of bottle necking as a concept.

So, my question is, given the cpu the machine as (and the graphics card if that matters with FM), is it worth putting16 gig of ram into it? Well i notice enough of a bump in game play speeds to justify the 100 quid initial out lay?

Thanks in advance
Ally

I think that it won't make any difference at all...Upgrading graphics card and processor is probably the only way to speed up and maximise the game.
If you look at computer performance and graphics performance on the start screen of the game..this (to me
) is only what it tells you..
