Advice - Swansea formation and players to use

Hi, Starting second season with Swansea and unsure on how to set up.
Which players would you select and which formation?

Timo Horn, Fabianski
Naughton, Amat, Fernandez, Taylor, Micah Richards
Shelvey, Cork, Lucas Romero, Montero, sigursson, Dyer, Sisto Pione, Marko Marin, Thorgon Hazard
Gomis, Depay, Benteke

Also still transfer window open and have little funds atm. Who would you sell and buy in?

Horn GK(D)

Lucas Romero (HB-D) or Regista (S)
Shelvey (RPM) or Regista if you use him as a DM
Sigurdsson as AP(A) in CM or AM strata (I'd go for CM zone with a DM-CM-CM triangle)

Depay as left inside forward
Sisto as right winger support

Benteke as Poacher or Advanced forward..

defence you should check what suits the players... if you play narrower or wider..
if narrow, go for limited full backs, or if wide, them wing backs or full backs on auto duty..

and CD(D) is a safe option..


play a high line, high tempo, close down more, retain possession, shorter passing...
if you play against a high defense line, use pass into space... if you play against a deeper defense, use run into defenders more...

crossing make it floated to take advantage of Benteke's height and reach..

PI's...

Depay will take long shots no matter what... ask Sisto to Cross more, you might even deploy him as MR, wide midfielder to select more PI's...
Shelvey has a long shot in him here and there, and you can make use of that...
