African/asian merged journeyman new adventure 2029/2030 season ASC Jaraaf (SEN)🇸🇳

New club, new country

We have been out that game for a while but now we have a new club starting in preseason 2029 in Senegal with ASC Jaraaf.

The club is a lot smaller than we are used to so far but this is going to be a good challenge in a new smaller league. They finished 12th last season so if we want to win anything seems we will have a lot of work to do. They got knocked out of the Senegal cup in the semi final, they won the Senegal league cup and they were knocked out of the first round of the CAF Confederation cup and did not make the group stage.

Out key player is winger Ababacar Sarr 28 years old his stats last season don’t look so great with only scoring 3 and assisting 1 in 21 league games. Maybe this is why they finished 12th.

We have a youth prospect Abdoulaye N’Doye 18 years old cm looks good but didn’t score in the league last season and needs to improve this year.

Our main striker Alassane N’Diaye 23 years old only scored 5 goals last season again better efforts needed this year.

Club finances as stated previously are smaller than we are used to however for this level seems okay. 181k in the bank which can be used for transfers.

Seasons expectations are:

  • Record top half finish in the league
  • Reach the later stages of Senegalese cup
  • Be competitive in the Senegalese league cup
Let’s see what happens this season and I will update my progress at the halfway mark which will be around December/January time.

African/asian merged journeyman start of January 2029/2030 season ASC Jaraaf (SEN)🇸🇳

This update is a bit shorter than normal as there is a lot less competitions we are competing in.

So here we are halfway through the season here in Senegal. There is alot of goals in this league is something that I’ve came to realise. However we make a lot of chances but don’t score a lot, our finishing is not the greatest. There is also a lot of players with the same name in my team and other teams and it’s quite confusing at times 😂

We currently have wages above our availability so we weren’t able to sign anyone in the summer window so Im basically using the squad i inherited when I took the job.

In the league: we are currently 1st and in yet another title race in our career which is a great season compared to where these guys finished last year (12th) it’s a huge improvement. Current champions Goree are sat in 11th place.

One game that stands out from the rest that’s a poor result that annoys me is the 1-0 defeat away to Teungueth they basically fm’d us sat back had one shot all game and won 1-0. So frustrating. Our next game isn’t until late February and only had one game in January vs SONACOS who if you remember we played them in the CAF when we were in Tanzania. I’m Not used to this calendar in Senegal.

We have currently scored the most goals in the league with 33 goals. Conceded the 5th worst with 17.

In the Senegalese cup: we don’t start in the competition until April.

Senegalese league cup: we don’t enter this competition until February.

Currently smashing our season objectives so the board and the supports are very happy right now.

Let’s see if we can win a trophy this season. We are in with a great shout💪🏼

African/asian merged journeyman end of the season 2029/2030 season ASC Jaraaf (SEN)🇸🇳

In the league: so end of the season and we finished 4th which is pretty disappointing considering the position we were in at half way but fitness issues and injuries meant we had to rotate more than we wanted and basically we didn’t turn up second half of the season. However board objective was met as they only wanted top half finish but still it looked so promising 👎🏻 results attached from the turn of the year and you can see how bad we were.

In the Senegalese cup: we entered in the second round and were drawn against league title challengers Ouakam who we haven’t had much luck against this season. We won 3-2 with a massively rotated squad and now onto round of 16. This time we played AS Kaffrine who appear to be a semi professional side down the leagues. Not really a surprise but again a rotated squad and we win 9-1 with Oualy scoring 4 and assisting 2. What a game for the lad. Qatar final time we play AS Pikine a team in mid-table in the league and it’s a 2-0 win. Onto the semi final and We have Teungueth who are also midtable in the league this season and we lost on penalties after a 0-0 draw 👎🏻 no final for us.

Senegalese league cup: we entered at the round of 16 and had a lot of players facing fitness tests due to training injuries so had to do a lot of rotating for the game and we lost 2-1 to Diambars.

We did pass all our objectives for the season however this is a season that I can look back on and think we had promise of a lot.

We signed a new 2 year deal in February but this season has been difficult as we didn’t have any transfer budget really or wages spare to recruit. Me staying will solely depend on if we can have the cash flow to even recruit at all after some players want to not renew their contracts and reinforcements are needed. Let’s see

African/asian merged journeyman January 2030/2031 season Enugu Rangers Fc 🇳🇬

So as you can see we are in a new league and country. We basically left ASC Jaraaf 🇸🇳 as they didn’t give me any money for the next season and we had players leaving and didn’t invest in us to try and make us better. So we left. However it’s took us until January to get a job as there was very limited jobs going all this season and some just weren’t great and a lot of clubs with debt.

Here we are. New league new country now in Nigeria halfway through a season which is new for us but we going to see how this goes.

League: up on taking this job Enugu currently sit 12th in the league. The board only want me to finish top half so we have half a season to achieve this should be doable.

Cup: we don’t start the cup until April so we have a few months to get ourselves sorted before that starts.

Finances: we have been given 50k roughly to mad some additions when the window rolls around which I believe is in February.

Small update but that’s what happens when you join midseason. Let’s see where this ends in 5 short months time in Nigeria.

African/asian merged journeyman start of 2031/2032 pre- season- Enugu Rangers Fc 🇳🇬

We don’t have a lot of money again this season we had to sell some players if we wanted to get the budget up But we have a big squad and a lot of good potential youngsters to use instead.

Transfers (summer)

Out:
Kalu Nweke the 32yo had one year left on his deal but we sold him for 15k to Bayelsa Utd as he didn’t feature much for us last season.

Kenneth iboke- 31yo left back was on loan last year and also wanted to go this year too so was loaned back out but this time to shooting starts in our league.

In: we signed

Adeshina Rasaq- Nigerian 28yo CM signed as a free transfer who played in Serbia last season. Got him in to add some younger cover in for cm

Damian Senusi- loaned from Keats United he’s a young 21yo cm who can play a number of roles which will also help for cover and competition for places throughout the year.

Important players this season:

Gk: Detan Ogundare- our first choice goalie played well last season and it’s important we keep him.

Defender: David Chimezie/ Onyebuchi Ifeanyi- our two veteran cbs solid last year and they’ll be very important this year too.

Midfield: Tony Eliagwu Dm / Isaac Saviour Cm- both were very important last year Tony was solid in dm for us and chipped in with a few goals he’s also versatile and play a numerous of positions / Isaac was great in creating chances playing a playmaker role.

Winger: Ryan Igwe- young winger who was in rotation last year but did very well will be our main rw this season. He’s got a lot of potential.

Striker: Gabriel Borgert - the young Brazilian striker we got on a free last January played really well and has massive potential so will be our main striker this season to help his potential thrive.

Also below is a screenshot of the other youngsters we have who could have their chances this year when we need to rotate. Mainly Jude Etim being a striker and winger could prove very helpful and has massive potential.

Board Objectives:
  • We were expected to finish mid table
  • Expected to reach latter stages

Never really see these so thought id try one and post it as I like trying new or unusual leagues. I started an Asian / African merged journeyman as an unemployed manager with a custom downloaded database I have every country available to add in and out. My list of current playable leagues are below.

We started in pre season 2024 unemployed and we got a job at a club in the Jordanian first divison 🇯🇴 (top division) with a club called Shabab Al Ordon. Media predicted 12th which is bottom of the league and currently we going into the winter break of the season currently top of the league! Massively over achieving as board wastes avoid relegation.

Jordanian cup competitions are below also which we didn’t win any but we got super close to the final but played one of the best teams in jordan Al Hussein. Focus for me is mainly on the league anyway.

We have quite an aging squad so need reinforcements for next season with some younger legs and only allowing Jordanian goalkeepers in the league is a cool quirk.

I’ll update the final table at the end of the season. Hopefully we get a continental competition place 🙏
What database did you download for all of these leagues?
Great updates, really enjoying it

African/asian merged journeyman mid season in Algeria December 2028/2029 season MC Alger 🇩🇿

Resigned!! I am updating now a little earlier than usual it’s not even January yet it is December 20th and as of now I have resigned as manager of MC Alger. This is the first time in this save I’ve not finished a season with a team however the atmosphere at this club is horrible. The players are divas and all want to talk about playing time even those who are not good enough wanna play more and then turning team mates against me. I had to leave. Such a Toxic club and such a shame as it’s really ruined my experience in Algeria.

Just before I start this update I just want to raise something funny for me. Before I got this job with MC Alger I had other interviews and applied for other jobs one being Al Nassr and no way did I expect to get the job but tried anyway. I did not get an interview but I got told ‘you would probably have qualities to deliver our vision’ 😂 okay? Give me an interview then 😂 anyway Steven Gerrard got the job. Now ten games into the season mr Gerrard has been sacked 😂 just saying…. 🤷‍♂️

In the league we are currently 6th and it is the 20th December. This is the state of place upon my resignation.

In the cup: N/A

AFC confederations cup: so we did get continental football but I didn’t find out right away. We had to go through the preliminary round first of all against Rukinzo Fc from Burundi which we won 13-1 on aggregate to go through to the next round. First round qualifier saw us take on ASC Kara of Togo which we won 5-2 on aggregate to make it to the group stage.
Our group is: Group B - CA Bizertin(Tun)🇹🇳 Kabwe Warriors (Zam)🇿🇲 and Pyramids (EGY) 🇪🇬 at the half way mark we sit 3rd with 1 point a Really disappointing showing from us.

Signings:

We signed Denis from simba 500k following us here from Tanzania. Unfortunately it’s not been a great time for the guy with injuries he’s missed a few games due to a few injuries but he’s scored a few goals for us.

Striker Merouane Zerrouki 27 year old 6ft from fellow league rival aconstantine for 300k

Adel Bouzida 26yo winger from fellow league rivals Paradou AC for 110k

Onto job hunting and let’s
