GONE TOO FAR?

Today Cardiff City owner, Vincent Tan, announced that the Football League had accepted his request to change the sides name from Cardiff City to Cardiff Berjaya and that a new badge had already been designed.

This announcement, broadcast live on Sky Sports News, is thought to have angered fans up and down the country, with protest marches already being scheduled.

Numerous Malaysian flags have been burnt in the hours since the press conference, however these attempts seem to be fruitless as Tan has already shown his complete lack of respect for fans.

The Cardiff City Supporters Trust have already called for Vincent Tans head and many fans are calling for a new phoenix club to be created.

AFC CARDIFF FORMED, WITH UNLIKELY FIGUREHEAD

Today the Football Association granted phoenix club AFC Cardiff the right to play in the Blue Square Bet South next season.

The club were expected to be laughed away, however they presented suitable documents and facilities, better than some Football League clubs.

Spearheading this drama is Craig Bellamy, ex Liverpool and Manchester City striker, who has joined AFC Cardiff on a free to aid the new clubs early years.

"As a Cardiff lad I was sorely disappointed to see what Vincent Tan did" Bellamy said, "a football club represents a community and Tan took that away from Cardiff, that's why I've come here."

Presenting a squad of 18 players, packed with locally sourced young Welsh talent, AFC Cardiff were allowed to participate next season.

CARDIFF BERJAYA ANNOUNCE PLANS FOR NEW STADIUM

Today Cardiff Berjaya owner Vincent Tan announced that the side will be moving from the brand-new Cardiff City Stadium to a new stadium, which will be named "The Vincent Tan Stadium".

Vincent Tan has said this sudden change is due to a lack of "Tai-chi and feel good atmosphere at the old ground", he claims that this move to a brand new all-red stadium in Butetown, South Cardiff, will make the team improve.

South Cardiff is straying from the football suburbs of Canton and Ely, where the majority of Cardiff fans hail from, this could mean more fans for AFC Cardiff

MALKY SACKED, WHAT NEXT?

Merely a year after taking over at Cardiff, Scottish manager Malky Mackay has been sacked, along with his backroom staff.

The likeable manager is the latest victim to Vincent Tans dramatic overhaul of the football club, coming behind the club, badge and name.

The former Norwich defender was expected to be sacked as the tyrranical rampage of Tan continued and the fans of Cardiff aren't surprised, but are angered to see him go.

"This is the end for me and Cardiff City, they aren't my club anymore, they aren't anyones club but Vincent Tans"-Dave Sugarman

Mackay was unavailable for comment.

Leading candidates for the job
Roberto Di Matteo-2/1-The likeable Italian manager is sought after by Tan, will he go down to the Championship?

David Beckham-4/1-Tans search for fame may lead him to the door of the ex-England captain, could this be his calling?

Sven Goran Eriksson-7/1-The former England manager is thought to fit the bill for Cardiff as he's a big name with a lot of experience
Didier Drogba-15/1-An unexpected name, but in the hat all the same, could the Ivorian striker take a jump into management?

DROGBA LANDS BERJAYA JOB

34-year old Ivorian Didier Drogba has today been announced as the new manager of Cardiff Berjaya.

The ex-Chelsea star signed a five-year-deal with the Welsh club, with wages of ?50,000 a week more than most of the first team put together.

When asked on is feelings on the clubs recent rebrand, Drogba replied that it didn't concern him, however it was an exciting time for the club.

When asked about recent splinter group AFC Cardiff Drogba replied "Who?", surely pleasing Vincent Tan, but infuriating AFC Cardiff and other football fans.

AFC CARDIFF ANNOUNCE LINKS

Today head of AFC Cardiffs board, Steve Borley, announced links with the three Welsh clubs, Wrexham, Newport County and Swansea City.

These links have been made due to possible financial struggles in AFC Cardiffs early years so each club will donate ?10,000 per financial year until the club are on their own two feet in terms of sponsorship and league standing.

Club captain Craig Bellamy had this to say
"I'm extremely grateful to Wrexham, Newport and especially Swansea for doing this. I am also grateful and thankful to the fans of the clubs as they have been a real driving force behind this deal and behind AFC Cardiff."

SAME CITY, SAME STARTS

Both Cardiff Berjaya and AFC Cardiff have made good starts to the season, sitting atop of their respective leagues.

Firstly though, we must discuss transfers, AFC Cardiff didn't make one signing and nobody left the club since the original squad list was given to the Football League however Cardiff Berjaya have spent a decent sum.

CARDIFF BERJAYA
Shaun Cummings from Reading for ?1.1m
Chris Basham from Blackpool for ?900k
Paul McShane from Hull for ?2m
Andy Drury from Ipswich for ?275k

Cardiff have done well in the transfer market, spending ?4.27m in strengthening their side and nabbiung some important players from rivals Blackpool and Hull.

Both Cardiffs have done well as mentioned before, and these are their results.

Both sides have started their season well, both are top of the league and both are scoring goals, but not many as freely as AFC Cardiffs Gareth Morris, who has bagged 7 goals in 4 games for the Bluebirds

Another player worth mentioning is AFC Cardiff midfielder Ieuan Dafydd, who picked up the BSBS Player Of The Month accolade.
