The Ukrainian is the best player I've managed on this game and Zollo is probably the best regen I've ever produced. Genuinely unbeatable at the back.

PRE-SEASON

I only had ?5m to spend this summer so there wasnt much spending on the first team but there are still plenty of changes to report!

My B team did win promotion to the 2nd tier so hopefully they will consolidate their position in that division this season and in the future I can throw some promising youngsters their way instead of to other clubs.

PLAYERS IN

The only signing for the first team was Stephane Ruffier from St.Etienne for a fee of ?3.3m. He was transfer listed so I naturally pounced on the French international.

I brought in these 5 youngsters for a total of ?1.7m (hopefully all the screenies will work lol)

Returning to the club from loan spells and coming into the first team squad are Ruiz de Galarreta, Aurtenetxe and Ramalho.

PLAYERS OUT

3 players were sold for about a million each - Toquero, Etxeita and Inigo Perez. Aduriz was sold for a pittance to Villarreal while over 20 players were released with the most notable name being club captain Carlos Gurpegi.

Iago Herrerin and Guillermo have been loaned out.

SUMMARY

There are 3 changes to my first choice starting XI. Ruffier obviously is my new keeper while replacing Aduriz up front will be Iker Muniain as a poacher and Ibai Gomez and Oscar De Marcos will battle eachother for the LW spot.

I was wondering why some of my at.madrid screenies weren't working. Try changing the actual name of image before you upload. I may try that next time to show my at.madrid SS's.

It's cause they've got an accent in their name. Will just have to replace the accent with a regular letter.

SUMMARY

Results wise this month was perfect as we banged in 13 goals in only 3 games. Muniain failed to hit the target but everyone else seemed to!!!!

The only cloud on the horizon was our draw in the Champions League. We will be up against Juventus, AS Monaco and Manchester United. Methinks I will be happy with 3rd place!!!

SUMMARY

This month was extremely tough fixture wise but we came through it ok. Obviously the highlights were victories over Real Madrid and Monaco but we did lose to Barcelona so it wasnt all good.

Muniain has been struggling a bit up front but I will persevere as I have nobody else!!!

I use snipping tool, alt f9 to save screenie, then open up the screenshot and use snipping tool to cut out what you want! Haven't had any issues when uploading pics. Hope that helps.

To be fair even if I got ?30m i probably wouldnt have done anything different. Azpilicueta hlals signed for PSG and Griezmann to Dortmund I think and the likes of Llorente, Javi Martinez, Inigo Martinez, Pardo etc probably wouldnt want to join me yet

lol - Bold and * means man of the match while players in italics are the players that were substituted. Blue means goalscored and the numbers are amount scored while red means red card. If someone scores and gets sent-off I write SO in red

SUMMARY

Up until that final game of the month everything was going great but that Granada result really put the cat among the pigeons!! Muniain, Herrera and Ibai Gomez were linking up really well although I am a bit worried that Susaeta has stopped scoring.

There was bad news when my top prospect Patxi Nieto got injured and is out for 5-6 months.

Sevilla sacked their manager Guus Hiddink and replaced him with Del Bosque (who got sacked as manager of Spain and was replaced by Valverde)

Ah thats fair enough, Azpilicueta did the same on mine and cost me 50m in the 3rd season lol although I didnt really need him anyway as Etxeberria turns into a beast if given games. Ruffier was a bargain though

SUMMARY

It seems to be getting a habit this - we perform brilliantly the whole month until the final game of the month and then we turn in a rubbish performance. Never mind it is what it is and we are still in a decent position both at home and abroad.

I got Velez Sarsfield as an affiliated club while I appointed Paco Herrera (Ander Herrera's dad) as a scout.
