SUMMARY

A great month results wise as we won every game contested to top the league and our Champions League group. Obviously the highlight was the away victory over Barcelona as our team performances begin to improve.

A tycoon is rumoured to be interested in taking over at Almeria which could be interesting for the save!

A so-so month. Performances were half decent on the whole but there were a few disappointing games but injuries and fatigue played a part in that probably. We are still sitting pretty at the top of the table and look as though we can really make a challenge for the title this season so that is good.

SUMMARY

I really enjoyed this month as in all 5 games I was able to play my backups and youngsters. Nieto took his chance and impressed while Sola and the veteran Iraola took their rare run in the side with both hands and were superb.

In the Champions League we will face Borussia Dortmund while Celta Vigo will be our opponents in the Spanish Cup.

Oh we won the World Club Cup too!!!

SUMMARY

A very busy but very successful month. We are still top of the league with a few games in hand so it will take a pretty poor run of results for us to throw the title away - but it will be the first one so my players may bottle it....

We managed to eliminate Real Madrid from the Copa del Rey and will face Barcelona in the next round.

The board allowed me to change my expectations and with that they gave me a small transfer kitty of ?90m!!!!!!!!!

So out I went and bought these two............

Guillermo was brought in from Real Madrid for a whopping ?13.5m. I envisage him being a replacement for Susaeta in a few years time but he has played great in AMC so far. Iker was brought in from Malaga for ?7m and will be mainly my back up striker to Muniain - we will see how he develops!

I have a Guillermo in the B team that has featured in the first team. He will now be known as Fernandez.

A very good month as we progressed in Europe and opened up a 7pt gap at the top of the table with a game in hand. Hopefully we can wrap up the title next month and I will be able to play some youngsters in the final few games.

SUMMARY

We go into the final month of the season needing just 2 wins for the title and hopefully we will get them quick in order to rest my players for the Champions League final against Juventus at the Millenium Stadium in Wales.

Our league form has been patchy (3 wins out of 6) which is probably down partly to nerves and partly due to the constant rotation of my players due to the amount of games.
