This is taken from a general footballing forum I troll regularly

Note: The following table was not compiled by me. I am merely re-posting it here as I find it interesting.

Points are from the final league position that each team has finished in over their history. You get 1 point for finishing bottom of the bottom division and so on.

Interesting read though.

I for one was fascinated when I learned that Sunderland have that many accumulated points.

Another interesting part is Everton above Manchester United.

If anyone is unsure of how it works, I believe the bottom place in the football league (League 2) grants you 1 point, whereas 1st place would grant you 24 points. Unless it is also including conference table standings.

So for finishing in 1st place in the top division (now the Premier League), you'd receive 92 points based on this table's system.

It shows how consistent Everton have been since they were founded. A great achievement to be above United on consistent table standings.

Lol at Accrington Stanley at 98th.
Go on boys!

This is a perfect table for a liverpool fan, Based on history ;)

Next time a chelsea fan tells me, we have no history, i will refer to this ;)

Tbh, the lower leagues teams are getting more points than Premier League sides.
