Amauri flogged on eBay by Juventus fan

After Juventus struggled to offload under-performing striker Amauri, an enterprising fan decided to sell the Brazilian-born star on eBay.

Bidding for Amauri, who cost a little under £19million from Palermo in 2008, reached 10m euros [£8m] before he was withdrawn by the online auction house.

The advert promised delivery in four working days, free shipping, and Juve full-back Paolo de Ceglie thrown in.

The 31-year-old has previously been linked with Tottenham and Fulham after Juventus deemed him surplus to requirements for 2012, but so far neither Premier League club have been willing to take a punt on the striker.

Amauri spent last season on loan at Parma, and managed seven goals in 11 appearances, but Juve boss Antonio Conte has made it clear he has no role in Turin, and is reportedly available for free.

However, Amauri’s high wage demands are likely to be the reason behind the lack of interest in the one-capped Italian international, so salary expectations may want to be included in any future eBay auctions…

If he lowered his demands I'd take him at Everton.

Yes we're that ******* desperate.

Amauri has talent, he just doesn't access it efficiently. He's a bit of a silly sod.

I'll bid a quid and some monster munch.
