As city i play a ridicolously attack minded team...I play like a 4-1-3-2 type thing, but I have Akinfeev in goal so i live...just starting my fourth season, I have an average of 3.3 goals...its incredible...apart from once in the first season, i've never scored less than 2 goals in a game...I have dzeko and aguero up front!
nice team and tactic..how much did fabregas cost you?

Great team!

I don't really like City but I like them MUCH more than ***** United :D

people only hate them because they know that city are starting to get into the title mix and spoil united's glory, didnt everyone say the same about chelsea?

sorry to be arrogant, but it really isn't that hard with City

Is it just me or did the OP imply that Tevez is a fast striker. I mean you could have called him a hard working striker, a brave striker, a creative striker, a supporting striker but a fast striker he is not. Plus team isn't really that good for your 3rd year with Manc.

Tbh random faggits r just copying what the first person said about 'Easy trophys' so really stop being n33kz.

thenkyou

He is great playing in that role though as he is rather fast, have great off the ball and anticipation stats and can handle running with the ball, using his technical skills

looks good.

tevez is top scorer in champions league during one of my season

Man City......boring

You start with an ace team and make them better, not much challenge, no matter the what tactics are.

it aint boring & you can progress with city.

got huge budget to spare, for instance ive spent 99 M to Fabregas =)

its cool to begin with a small team and see how you develop, but its a different kinda game to take a big team and win your thropies if you can. I would pick Spurs or Citizens to play with to any other team like Chelsea or Barcelona.

For Man city my 41212 diamond tactic has helped me to win the Premier League and the FA cup in my first year. havent started the second season yet, Arsene has stepped down from Arsenal and they offered me the job, I declined it. Dont have an other 99 M at Arsenal to buy Fabregas back =)

Thats just it.....£99M for one player, no matter who is OBSCENE

I agree, winning trophies is a great feeling but thats where there is no challenge. As Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, Real you are expected to win trophies. I wont say iv never gone a big team but I dont really anymore.

The past 3 FM games i'v attempted to drag Raith Rovers into Europe and the biggest team iv gone recently is Ajax because I like the young potential within their side(despite beingpumped 4-0 by PSV :( ). But I no longer go the massive sides because I find it boring and I lose interest in playing after a few matches.

And if anyone didnt win at least the league with City first time, id consider it an underachievement

its 99 M Euros to be precise.. =) anyhow, I mostly agree with your post. I think im gonna go for another season to see if I win the CL and then continue the game with a struggling team. Otherwise it truly gets boring to repeat the same success over and over again. it doesnt even feel like an achievement anymore, becomes a routine to repeat which sux.

Try League One or Two teams, maybe Blue Square Premier League or below and try getting them into Europe within 5-10 seasons. Now that's a challenge that's both interesting and highly rewarding at the same time. There's this guy on FM Base (can't remember his name though...) that brought League Two club Burton Albion from the fourth tier of English football into European football within a short amount of seasons. That's an achievement.

I'm trying to get Crewe Alexandra out of League Two after getting relegated and then into the Championship within four seasons. It isn't a story on FM Base but that is a small accomplishment that I can be proud of.Playing around with £70million plus and buying wonderkids for ridiculous amounts of money (exampling your buy of Fabregas for 99M Euros) is what will get very boring and tedious after a while.

Here's another suggestion.Bring a club from the lowest leagues of Slovakia,Slovenia,Norway,Sweden,Serbia or Denmark into Europa Legaue/Champions League football within 5-6 seasons. That's a challenge.
