Hiya this is a great guide it will really help alot of ppl.....
ESP-ME|)

Just 1 question which is the best way to use Anderson n Rooney???

Cheers D@ve

Anderson - Advanced playmaker - attack (run with ball often, not too attacking, lots of through balls, moves into channels)

Rooney - Complete Forward - Support (traditional) I have retrained him to Aml and Amc ;) depends where I want to use him :) he is playing like a machine in Amc :)

you were very lucky to get permission for that amount W4FC, I controlled the finances very well until December, the board asked me to re-evaluate my expecations and gave me another 25 million to spend...

I had bought Danny at the end of the window, I have sold Carrick (8.25m) to Villa and Owen for (1.2m) to Wigan...

asked Paul Scholes and Van Der Saar to start coaching, struggling to get them to commit to player/coach roles though....

I exchanged Gabriel Obertan for Ashley Young (plus 1 million upfront as Villa were really interested in Obertan)

loaned out Smalling to Everton and Hodson, Coeff and Saadi to Championship teams...

bought in Akinfeev for 13 million in January, selling Valencia for 12.5 million as I have enough Attacking wide players now that I have Ashley and put the extra 25 million straight back into my wage budget :)

now thats business :)

Nice deal on Ashley Young there! I also bought Dany on my save, always been a massive fan of him, he seems to have settled in great in the first few matches, adding 3 assists. I'll tell you how it's going every half season or so.

Cheers for advice Raikan007!!!

Just wondering what tatic you use as ive downloaded the tatic on your OP???

And i agree very good business with the Young deal m8

I used that to start, I have developed a much better version from that initial one in the OP, I will upload it tomorrow ;)

look forward to that!!!!!

Would you say berbatov plays best as deep lying forward attack????

Just setting up a united game now, following most of this guide, got rid of the dead wood in the backroom staff and set up training, now looking for some advice with tutoring, whos had good experiences with who?? especially looking to tutor Will Keane and Ryan Tunniclife, is Ravel Morrison worth a crack or is he really a no hope =[

If you can get Scholes/Giggs to tutor Morrison then he has the PA to become a good player, but sometimes he refuses to be tutored, and others his PA doesn't turn out so good. He's definitely worth the attempt though.

Looks good W4FC....

What position n role do u play Chicharito??

And what tactic do u use as im not having much sucsess at moment im getting chances but not converting them(im using the tactic on the OP by raikan007)

Awesome guide Raikan, was going to have a go with Man Utd as it is one team I have never tried to manage before. So this will really help.

I find that Valencia is a LOT better than Nani for crossing balls in, he has 5 assists in his last 3 games, only tested him out against Birmingham and kept him on. I have Vucinic as well but he has just recovered from an injury.

Thanks i haven't made any signings as yet but ive got Danny coming in Jan(this is the 1st time on any fm's ill of had him) and ive also got akinfeev and lucas from sao paulo coming at start of my 2nd season...

Valencia and Hargraves have jusy came back from injury so ill try him soon......

And i play Berba as deep lying striker and rooney as complete striker support bt i am retraining him as left wing like suggested...

Thankyou For the help please feel free too suggest other things for me lol as i will try them and hopefully it will help me in my Manu save...

Danny may take a bit of time to settle in but I'm biding my time with him and giving him more playing time. I have changed him to Advanced Playmaker - Attack and I'm retraining him to Centre Mid, hopefully he will get used to his new role pretty quickly. But for the most of it I have just stuck with the tactic that I downloaded.

Is it the tactic from the OP what you use????

As i use that 1 and ive just tweaked it by changing striker role to try n get the best out of Roo n Berba and changed deep lying p/maker 2 adv p/maker to hopefully get the best out af anderson...But gonna try it with berba n chicharito up front n roo n valencia on wings n hopefully i can string some results 2getha lol

look forward to that!!!!!

try the 4-4-2 tactic I just uploaded and play him in the Stl role (its set as Treq) its his best position :) and even the Rooney Amc one, he is still a machine in that role too :)

OP Updated with my latest United tactics.....

use the latest one that I have just uploaded, the other one was ok, this one is a lot better :)

Danny settled in immediately for me :) playing very well, I have actually retrained Rooney to AMC and NOT AML... he is a machine in the AMC role...

Good results there WFC :)
