A good replacement for Scholes is Andrea Poli. Creative, intelligent, very good passer of the ball and using Foss' update, I had a £4.5m bid accepted, Malaga beat me to him though. He accepted a wage of £29k (hot prospect) from me and still went to Malaga who offered £24k so you might need to give him a better squad status than that ;)

keep Evra and sell the rest :) buy Alan Dzagoev - CSKA to replace Scholes, it will be the best £4-6m you will ever spend!
 
i'm at my new 2011/2012 season with a lot of young signing such as pichu atienza, tobias figueiredo, phillipe vignau, eden hazard and Fellaini. who should i buy next...?? my old guys like Scholes, Giggs and VDS already retired so i only had Lindegard, Kusz and Amos as GK. Rafael, Valencia and Carrick is on long term injured so i guess their chances is on middle of the league. can u give me a suggestion...??
 
Raikain i will be using your 4-4-2 but I'm looking to play some of the prospects using LFCMarshall's update.

What roles would you recommend I play Welbeck, Cleverley, Smalling and Jones in? And any other instructions?

Welbeck - Poacher
Cleverley - Central Mid - Support
Smalling - Cover
Jones - Defend or Stopper ;)

yes :) he becomes a great midfielder or Alexandre Coeff - Rc Lens 500k :)
 
Would you reccomend switching the left wing to IFA so Ash Young can play there.Also I was thinking should I switch the adv playmaker role to a DLPS with Carrick and fletchers role to defend instead of support while withing Trequista to Poacher to suit Hernandez.PLaying with LFCs latest update so I have a squad that this tactic needs to adjust slightly to.
 
yeah mate, do whatever you want :) see how it goes, if it does not work then revert back to the original tactic you are using ;)
 
as much as this is a great guide.. the only thing about the financies are that they will be gone by 2017 anyway and united will be better off .... i got united debt free in 7 season not just buy winning but its the natural way of the game .. plus i spent 100 mil plus every season and always asked for more and my financies were great the debt by 2014 was £155 mil which is awesome considering
 
Hi Guys,

I am starting a new save with United and going to play a 4-5-1 which is my favourite formation. Now my problem is that I have too many strikers for the tactic so I would like to sell Berbatov and Owen but have tried to in previous saves with no luck. No one wants to buy them. Do you guys have any tips or suggestions and what would the recommended selling prices be?

Also, I am thinking of bringing in Milan Badelj (MC) and Sven Bender (DM) to bolster the midfield (I like bringing in cheaper players to keep the debt under control) since I am playing a 3-man central midfield, what do you guys think?

Lastly, any suggestions or recommendations that you guys have regarding any aspect of the game are welcome.
 
sell Berbie in Jan or end of the season, he plays so well, no idea why everyone wants to sell him, he is world class! :)

I have made a new tactic for United (well for anyone) over the weekend! took a new approach on tactics and wanted to replicate how they play at the moment :) and it really works fantastically! unbeaten in every game all season! not one loss and only 7 draws the entire season, won everything :)

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I've decided to keep him. I am still yet to decide on an MC or DM though if you have any suggestions?

I am caught between buying one expensive midfielder like Vidal, M'Vila or Moussa Sissoko and using them as an MC when Hargreaves is back or buying two seperate midfielders (a DM and an MC) as the above players lack creativity.

Will definitely give your tactic a try though! :D
