Annoying Bids For Players!

Just Started my 2nd season with AC Milan... won the title on last day of season from inter... Fabio Coentrao cost me 6.5mil at the start of the game and now tottenham are interested in him

I Flatly rejected they initial enquiry as he was a star last season, only for them to keep bidding and keep enquiring and the bids wernt getting any higher!

Overall they bid 20.5mil 9 times and enquired about him 5 times over the couple of months for the transfer market

i even got him to sign a new contract and set him to indespensible!

So glad transfer window just shut

tbh i think in fm11 you should be able to report unsettling players by other clubs

Anyone else had a similar experience.?

at least you get bids that would be acceptable - all i get are bids around 500k+ a friendly for players that are worth 10mio + ...

All my players have a minimum fee release clause usually 3-4 times their value

I set the transfer status indispensible to club and and set the transfer fee to available for the minimum fee release clause and reject offers lower. Saves me from accept/rejecting manually. **** if they want to bid 60mil each for Verratti and Otamendi sure go for it . I'll build a new stadium and buy players so I can be 3 deep at every position

just gettin annoying i already set it too reject all offers as i didnt want to seel for ANY price but still got annoying

anyway window shut at my team looks like this

At 3-4 times the value they won't bid. It's just a scare tactic to keep them away. and keep joke bids to a minimum. You want them you pay for a replacement plus his backup and the backups backup is my mentality. I got sick of joke bids 1mil+friendly plus player aged 35 that's on the transfer list for players not at their peak and already worth 5-6mil

But you can use it to your advantage when buying as well. I picked up Okoro at age 24 for 5mil in his prime because Sevilla still had him on his original contract and RLO.

just go into Player > Transfers > reject all bids problem gone , that what I do when I get annoying bids

The best thing to do is to counter any bids with very ridiculous offers, i do this every time big clubs come in for players i don't want to sell, they almost always become disinterested immediately - before the player has chance to become unsettled.

Yea i put reject all offers but didnt think of asking for like 80mil for him when they enquired.. then they wuda ****** off

All you have to do is respond with £80,000,000 after then enquire or bid. That's the same way they get rid of your interest and is kind of the only way you can get rid of there's. Alternatively just give the guy a new contract, interest disappears after that.
