Another formation when defending

IS this possible?

In my career with Ajax I want to pay a 433/343 formation. When the team is attacking I want it like this:

Cillessen
Veltman - Van der Hoorn - Riedewald
Gudelj - Bazoer
Klaassen-----------------Sinkgraven
El Ghazi - Milik - Kishna
​

Butwhen we are defending like this:

Cillessen
Veltman - Bazoer - Van der Hoorn - Riedewald
Gudelj
Klaassen--Sinkgraven
El Ghazi - Milik - Kishna

So what I want is another formation when we are defending, or a player who goest to another position when ddefending. Is this somehow possible?​

The formation you set on the tactics screen IS the shape your team will form in the defensive phase. In attack your shape will be determined by roles and duties.

I think it depends very much on your system as a whole and the attributes of your defenders.

Uhh... So no one will be at the flanks at all? To help with possession and all???? How is this going to work?

El Ghazi and Kishna are classic wingers...

I first thought Bazoer was a halfback, but he sits in midfield when you're on the attack and in defence when defending, so maybe set him as an anchorman? Kishna and El Gazi are inside forwards sitting narrow by the looks of it, so maybe set Klaasen and Sinkgraven as playmakers to run wide with ball?
