View attachment 259471In a surprise u-turn Juventus have not only resigned Alessandro Del Piero after only being released a week ago but named him as their new player-manager.
He signed a one year contract with an option of an extension of three years. This will allow former manager Conte to return to the club if he is found innocent in his fight against his involvement in the recent betting scandal.
This will be his first job as a manger but many pundits and ex players alike have had good things to say about the new man.
Pavel Nedved, club legend and sporting director had this to say about Del Piero ‘He is the true icon of Juventus and will give his heart and soul for the club. I think he will be a great manager’
