Anybody going to be putting on any bets for this World Cup?

Hate to say it but I might take a punt on Germany.......just a few quid...

Already had a bet on Argentina to win it and an each way bet on Ghana.

i would go for spain or brazil, argentina might be worth a shot

Can I just ask what each way means? And I bet there would be great odds on A triple, World 2020, England football, and Andy Murray Wimbledon, too late now though but its still on :)

I got Spain in a draw and I have a bet on Germany in the bookies.

Each way means you get a quarter of the odds to win it but they only have to reach the semi's to get paid out.

I'm seriously backing our boys... Think we have a great coach and if he can keep the players injury free then we have as good a shot as any team... also Uruguay to be the shock team.

You seriously put money on Argentina? They look so dodgy.. :S I can only assume it's because you got good odds. Although Ghana is a nice outside bet although I'd rather take a punt on Ivory Coast, they have a quality squad.

Under estimate Argentina at your peril. I remember in 2002 Brazil really struggled to qualify for the finals, the rest is history.

I am from Argentina, and I wouldnt bet on them. Have you seen them play in the last 5 or so games. You can´t seriously considering them. Messi cant win it by himself. Plus, Maradona asks him to play in a total different way than he plays in Barcelona. Did you know that Maradona plans to play only with centrebacks. I mean, with players that usually play in centreback position. He put like 2 fullbacks on the list, which will be on the bench. It would not surprise anyone in Argentina if we dont make it through the group stage.

Anyway, my favourites are Spain, but like in any WC, favourites hardly win. Even though its hard for me to say it, jejeje, I strongly believe that England has a very good shot at the title this year. The team is good, well balanced except GK position, and the Coach, is a specialist in winning things.

i put a bet on euro 2008 and done a spain to win and david villa top scorer and obviously it came in which i was happy about. im possibly thinking doing argentina to win and luis fabiano top scorer.

i wonder what the odds of north korea coming last in their group are?

I have placed a little £5 bet on Spain at 4/1, I am going to put more on them. I cannot really see past them to be honest. Might have a little bet on England, as if they win it and I am not on them I will be gutted.

Well I put £200 on Spain as I think they are favourites and I felt 7-1 was great odds.

I also put £100 pounds on Argentina at 12-1 and £50 on France at 16-1. They are my outsiders they have the quality and the experience. I still think Spain will win.

I always bet against England as if they win.... football coming home will be enough of a reward
I like this either way bet thing JP mentioned might put one on Ivory Coast (£10)
Got £50 on Italy.
Italian defences nuff said.

Spain to win.

Serbia each way.

France to exit at group stage.

Villa top goalscorer.
