Hello. I am managing Manchester United, just finished the first season.
I love English players, and I will like to build a team with a lot of English players.
Therefore, I want some recommendations about who I should get.
So far I only got Will Hughes with players like Powell, Lingard, Welbeck and Michael Keane who are originally in this team. I really want to build a team like the Class of 92.

Try Shaw, Ward Prowse, Clyne, Rhodes, Clayton, Ibe, Rossiter, George Green etc

James Ward-Prowse, Luke Shaw, Jeremie Boga (Chelsea), Jerome Sinclair (Liverpool), Dan Crowley, Ryan Ledson.

The first 4 particularly are very good and in a season or 2 will be fighting for a start in your first 11.

Here would be my Young English XI (Not including players you already have, or players that are already good (E.g. Wilshere)):

GK:Butland
RB:Clyne
LB: Shaw
CB: Caulker
CB: Stones (Not great, but Jones and Smalling both play for you already)
Mid: Barkley
Mid: Prowse
Mid: Chalobah
LW: Ince
RW: Sterling
ST: Kane

I searched for Ward-Prowse and Shaw, they look great.

How much do they cost though?

Both can be quite exspensive, hard to say how much they'd want in the 2nd season. Seen someone buy Prowse for ?20m second season, I got quoted ?7m so changes alot.

Oh. Thanks for answering, but I also have another question.
Are Lingard, Zaha, Powell, Will Hughes and Michael Keane good enough to fight for the first 11?

I've just finished 4th season with United. Lingard wasn't good enough, so I sold him. Zaha is okay, but not my first choice (I have Lucas Moura/Valencia) and I rotate Zaha with them. Powell and Hughes are quality. Although, Will Hughes seems to be slightly better, they both are talented players, who can replace Michael Carrick in the long run, but still you have to give them some time to develop. I'm not sure about Michael Keane. I got rid of him, since he couldn't compete with Jones/Doria/Balanta.

I bought Ward-Prowse for ?17m first season. Definitely my best buy in Football Manager so far. Turns out to be incredible.

Harry Kane and Adam Campbell (ST), Butland (GK), Ward Prowse (CM maybe... I forgot), Clyne-Shaw (RB-LB), Chalobah (DM), Barkley (AM), Chamberlain (not sure if he's still U21) with Tom Ince and Sterling (maybe Sterling will be a little bit difficult since he's a L'pool player) as wingers, Jordon Ibe (I don't know his position), Clayton (English lower league striker, forgot his team)

being Portsmouth in league 2 start with some great prospects, Ashley harris ST and fahad mank(can't remember the name) both of them look quality players after a few years, I have all the top teams in Europe after fahad would be cheap and worth a look

Powell & Hughes are. Not sure on Zaha, but I wouldn't of thought so (Not by the time he develops), and Lingard and Keane aren't.

finding U21 internationals, or quality british U21s is one of the easiest things to do in the game. Click on the english flag, and navigate to their u21 side, then highlight them all, and click scout.

Plus, didnt you say you are MANU? You can see his stats, how can you not tell that Michael Keane isnt good enough?

If you want to sign a bunch of u21 internationals you need to play them or risk squandering their potential. It doesnt matter if they are "good enough" or not. A whole year sitting on the bench can be devastating for a player's long-term worth.

If you sign guys like will hughes, James Ward-Prowse, Luke Shaw, Nathaniel Clyne they need to play, so you have to figure out how to get them 10-20 games in the first year

Actually, Zaha is good enough for the first squad. In my first season, he had an overall rating of 7.10. Yes, I didn't loan him out, instead, rotated him with Valencia, since Nani is injured at the beginning. Definitely among the best AMR ingame.. And Micheal Keane is pretty decent for a cover's cover. But if you give him enough games, he eventually becomes pretty good. However, due to the availability of other good, young CB ingame, he is rarely played.

just bought James Ward Prowse start of 3rd season and his not really doing much, how are you playing him to get him to perform?

Calobah, Ward-Prowse and Shaw real beasts I tell ya. Calobah is keeping Ramires out of the starting line up and is only 20!

jordon jones. He is flexible (can play MC, AMC, AML/AMR), so he can use him to cover a lot of places in your side, substituting him in after 50-60 minutes for development.
