Any signings to recommend?

Hi, I'm currently in my second season with Tottenham, managed to finish third in the league last season by signing Karim Benzema, Diego Renan and Lucio (The Brazilian midfielder, not the well known defender). Also signed a couple of players for the future.

then spent 35 million on Giuseppe Rossi

Here is my current starting 11:

GK: Heurehlio(???)Gomes

LB: Sebastian Bassong

CB: Michael Dawson

CB: Younes Kaboul

RB: Diego Renan

CM: Tom Huddlestone

CM: Rafael Van Der Vaart/Luka Modric

LAM: Gareth Bale

RAM: Nagawa (can't remember his first name)

ST: Karim Benzema

ST: Giueseppe Rossi

I'm already 9 points from 9 with this squad, just wondered if anyone knew of any players that could possibly strengthen the team. Transfer window is currently closed and i will scout any players which are recommended and will probably sign if i think they are good enough

Oh by the way i might just add. Gallas and King usually play but they are both injured at present, King for a longer term.
 
Your defence is a little fragile. Try to get Chris Samba (Blackburn) in as CB - stopper. And Lionel Galiano as CB (cover) Also, maybe Javier Pastore - play him as inside forward on whichever wing you like (but you'll have to re-train him to that position) he'll guarantee you plenty of goals and assists. It's like having Christiano Ronaldo in your team once he's been re-trained! Also, if your playing Bale on the left - you could do with someone to get onto the end of his crosses... Khouma Babacar, would be ideal.
 
I'd say you need an LB, Bassong is quality on the left side of a central defence, I'm sure he's doing a good job for you there defensively but he probably isn't offering you much going forward and offering support for Bale. Try Dodo.

I'm also Tottenham - and Dodo is my LB... He's fantastic. I've just finished my fourth season, and I won literally everything! :)
 
I'm surprised so many people replied, thanks a lot, i can't be on FM right this moment but once i get on i'll scan through this and send a scout out to scout these guys.

Typical ledley king ;)

Give ryan shawcross a scout, he will help with your fragile defence, or if you can afford the cash - try Brede Hangeland, he is especially good at corners.

I heard conor wickham is quite good in the second season, so give him a scout.

My best choice for a midfielder is Tom Cairney.....the lads a fantastic player!

I have him on mine at the minute at Newcastle and he is keeping Nolan out of the squad.

ALSO.....like one of the lads above says, try and get babacar - he is one **** of a striker!
 
Yea.... The Rossi signing basically took the whole budget away, but i reckon i'll be given another 20/25 mil in the second window. Not sure i'll be able to convince Enrique to come although it would be a good signing.


The defense can be fragile i agree. Lyon and At.Madrid have shown interest in Kaboul and apparently he owes it to himself to go to a bigger team (the git)

So yea, good looking players and i'll defo check them out.
