Anyone else still not received theirs?

The girlfriend pre ordered mine from Play.com months ago and I still havent't got it.

Play sent her an email saying it was posted on Tuesday and to wait 3-5 working days.

Not good enough, she pre ordered it for me because I wanted to have it on the day it came out without having to leave the house. I also put holidays in at work Monday and Tuesday this week to have a good go on it. Funny how plenty of my friends pre-ordered off of other websites and got theirs on either Thursday or Friday last week.

Furious with play and unlikely to ever use them again.

Just wondering if anyone else using play (or any other online retailer) that pre-ordered has failed to receive it?
 
I ordered my copy from amazon the day before release and got it the day after it actually came out. Used the free post option too. Have you contacted play.com?
 
Yes, she rang them on Sunday afternoon and they tried to fob us off saying it may be because we only have standard delivery when the only option they gave when she ordered was the usually free delivery. Then they said that if an item isn't received you have to wait 21 days before they can do anything about it.

I've just sent them a snotty email as it hasn't arrived today either.

Never using play.com again and would advise everyone else to avoid them like the plague if they are actually pre-ordering something for a reason.
 
I think a few people havent recieved theres. Seems stupid that when you pre-ordered months ago it wasnt at the very front of the lot to be sent..
I dont know why people cant just nip down the shop and get it to be honest, or download it :D
 
Does seem silly that you haven't used Steam. Steam would of let you pre-load the game ready to play on release day.
 
Never thought of that TBH as I always just buy the actual disc. Maybe next year...
 
i got mine of steam after amazon ****** up my fifa order playing midnight thursday XD
 
amazon didn't get me mine and kept asking for more details so i just got it from GAME :)
 
im still waiting for mine from zavvi so i went out and bought it from game on fri morn, but when my copy from zavvi does arrive a mate is buying from me
 
still not recieved mine from dbgamez,was despatched thursday,iemailed them n they said just to be patient lol yeah right im dieing to get started,shall just buy from shop on release day nxt yr or steam d;0(
 
Was goin to get my game from play.com, but changed my mind at last sec and pre-order through Game. So glad i did now. Got it within 2 days

My GF phoned up abour an hour ago asking if she could do that and have a refund but they said they couldn't.

they can only replace or refund lost or stolen items after 21 days, and then you have to prove it hasn't arrived. tw*ts.

Correction, the retailer has to prove that it did arrive, ie a tracking number.

Which play can't do as they always use Royal Mail standard post with no tracking.

Can they prove it was dispatched? You can cancel any order for a full a full refund up until the point of dispatch.

I'd download off steam now, and then get your refeund either by sending it back when it arrives, or by cancelling if you can.
 
Well, she got an email saying it had been dispatched. To Hong Kong, by the looks of it...
 
Just nip down to the shop and buy it lol, why the laziness, atleast u can get it safe and sound on release day

dont know about the OP but I live 30 miles from a game shop, thats a **** of a 'nip' :P
 
if you used a credit card and not a debit card cancel order and inform credit card will refund you.
 
Had very bad experience with play where they lost my pre order for 2 weeks never used them again so now I use shopto and everything has come early so far.
