Anyone ever used the board to pull in some big signings?

Id used me full budget in first season on man united

and had a look at gareth bale and clicked make an offer, an there was an option to talk to the board clicked it, and they said something like 'He is exactly the type of player were looking for, we'll sort it' couple of days later he was signed for like 30mil lol, same happened with modric

Biggest signing I've ever made using the board was a Swedish full back for Bolton Wanderers. Think it was in the region of £6million. Don't intend to use it again unless it is a last resort.

You already have one, Bale
It's unlikely that you'll be playing wingers and wing backs at the same time I'd think so move Bale to LWB, train him there too, and he comes good, I've used him there for over 3 seasons

Yeah sorry was a bit off topic haha but thanks for answering, i was thinking maybe moving him to left wing but i wont and perhaps have lennon or another fast player there and do what you said and train him at LWB..... THANKS
