I am stunned. Anzhi has just signed Balázs Dzsudzsak from PSV, 12 million euros from what the sources say.. He signed a 4 year contract, dont know how much he will win per week, but i am pretty sure he will get a bugatti veyron for signing, like Roberto Carlos... Anyway here's the uefa site saying it, it's in portuguese, can't find the english link, but its just the "proof"..

Anzhi is one of the most interesting teams to watch, as they've made good signings to strengthen their title race. They're currently second in the Russian league with twelve games played, trailing one point after CSKA who have played a game less. They will certainly be a force to be reckoned with in the least on domestic level as I doubt Kerimov will stop spending here. So the prospect of Dzsudszak moving only for money doesn't necessarily have to be the only option. One must look at the bigger picture here.

And it's good he didn't move to any English team.

Exactly, this is only good for football. The RPL is growing..fast and this transfer is making the league even better and more competitive.

I see what you're saying. But I still think it's a bit of a step sideways going from one of the best teams in the Eredivisie to one of the best teams in the Russian Premier League. To be honest, I think he moved for the money.

The Russian Premier League is of slightly better standard than the Eredivisie anyway.

I agree with Foss, the Russian league is defiantly on the rise and there is serious investment being put into it. It isnt too far fetched to believe that he wants to be thought of as one of the men that brought the Russian leagues to the top.
He has taken a step forward in his career and got a pay rise. Where is the problem.

Now you're just thinking you know more than others. No, you're wrong, i actually follow the russian football because i like Zenit.. I knew about Anzhi since along ago, since they were in the 2nd Russian division aka Russian first division, they came to the Premier Division 2 seasons ago (won the 09 season) so let's not enter in the "i know more about the team than you", because that's not what matters here...

To be honest, Anzhi was nothing a couple years ago. They were promoted to the top tier what, a year, two years ago? And were it not for Karimov's money, they'd be relegation battlers . I'm not going to crucify the guy for doing what 95% of footballers do - play for the money - but you can probably see why people would call him a moneygrabber. On the other hand, there's no point denying the fact Russian football is probably on the rise and so is Anzhi, so I think this could be a step forward in his career.
