Applying FM 2013 updates to FM 2012

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong forum section.

Is it possible to apply updates and extras(e.g.Kits) that are for FM 2013 and place them in your FM 2012 game?

It should, as long as the teams and so haven't changed their unique ID, which is highly unlikely, I think.

What is not a database change should work.
