its not breaking the match engine thats important, its exploiting the weaknesses in the teams you are playing against.

but 1st season woes?

downloading tactics to "win" is much less rewarding than playing properly, just ask guardiola, the patch broke his tactic too

But but... your picture only shows the results not how you exploit the weakness of your opponent...

this is it pretty much, the wingers and fullbacks have pi to ease off tackles. I do make changes during matches though depending on how things are going

I really hope we don't "break" or "crack" the Match Engine. That was possible when the ME was much simpler and less diverse. If you can do something obviously illogical without the attached consequences, then that shows notable flaws.

I like seeing this kind of tactic. Simple shape (I use the same 4-1-4-1), logical choices in mentality, roles, duties, etc. You don't have a dozen Team Instructions to overcomplicate. And I really like that you tweak as required. The idea of "set it and forget it" doesn't necessarily work that well in FM anymore. Not saying it can't, but adapting and adjusting is part of being a manager.
