My Europa League 1st round knockout ties, Kameni saving an 89th penalty in the 1st leg was the key for victory. The Stracq grabbed goals in both legs as well which was pleasing! Strandberg injured for 5 weeks so got Tamas in. Galatasary up next!

Nice tactic. using it for my fc utrecht save.
However i seem to have some problems with taking too many cards.
finished the 6th game just now, and this is the 2nd game where 2 of my players are send off with an red card ( 2x yellow ).

This is quite an aggressive tactic with lots of closing down. Are the players getting sent off overly aggressive? If they have 16+ aggression I always change the tackling to easy, or when a player goes to a yellow. Or you can use your subs for the booked players.

Yes one on my players has 17 agression. the other has 12. but it was both times the same players.
Will change it and see if it works :) .

After winning 6 games on the spin, then these two results ultimately decided the season. I was top of the league with 2 games to go but then this happened. I had Fabio missing for this game and Safari isn't nowhere near his level sadly.

Leading into the final days fixtures, which were pretty academic as Tottenham smashed Brighton to send them down, so is this the final match day results and the final league table.

I did manage to beat Spurs in the F.A Cup final though, to lift Walsall's first ever F.A Cup which was a small crumb of comfort after throwing away the league.

Now I must carry on strengthening for Walsall's Champions League assault next year :) and make sure I have more depth especially in both full back areas where I struggled towards the end of the season. Need better wingers too, I don't know if to sign Assaidi permanentyl for £2.8m as he was injured quite often but when he did play he did ok and chipped in with a few goals and assists. What do you reckon?

how can i get my national side to become more familiar with this tactic as there is no training with national sides?

very unlucky but wow to think where you started and to run it that close is just epic it goes to show how epic this tac is and with a few more players mate i think you will win the lot simply put ******* epic

This is amazing for first season in the prem! Congrats, though I'd be equally as frustrated to have not won the league.

Aissaidi looks like a good attacking option, though id be worried to play him against the big guns where I prefer to have more defensive wingers on.

You can't with the national side, but it will be the same for all the teams you come up against too. My tactic went from Awkward to Accomplished during the Euros though.
 
In my second season with Swansea, hoping to emulate the 5th placed finish from last year. 7 points in 4 games so far, not too bad with also winning my first game of the Europa League campaign against Legia Warsaw. Now for Spurs at White Hart Lane!
 
currently sitting 3rd in the prem with my birmingham side 2nd season won 10 drew6 lost 1 away to arsenal 3-0,but spanked man city 4-2.edit-just looked and won 8 out of the last 9

I seem to be having problems being able to update the OP post - it won't allow me to ''Go advanced'' as it normally does so I can add attachments, format etc.

If you like it may be worth starting a new thread, one for all variations of the original tactic and discussions on how it can be tweaked.

I seem to have started something with these tweaks, so a new tweaks thread sounds like an idea - I'll start one off, with links back to your OP.

It'll save us getting too off topic here as well ;).
